MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

THE CEMETARY KITTIES OF PALENCIA SPAIN...A STORY OF HOPE!!!

01022012 from ahab101abba on Vimeo.

This will be the most heartwarming 18 minutes you will see today...make yourself a cuppa coffee and please watch this. (If your heart breaks at the sight of a kitty who has passed on, do not watch from minute 8 to 9:40) I know there are kitties all over this world who need a chance to be loved...but these kitties in the cemetary in Spain can have a chance at feeling the touch of a loving human and a place of safety if we all just find it in our hearts to give a dollar or two...we know how quick that can add up to a much needed sum.  While we can not help every cat in the world...we have a chance to make a difference in one feline life at a time.  In a way, we are all cast offs...recycled humans and cats alike.  Please pray for these kitties and the humans who are dedicated to helping them.  My friend cat Anja in Germany is having an auction on her blog of some handcrafted smalls...they are adorable and inexpensive...we bought the little flowered birds!  Come and see and make a difference...it feels good in your heart!  We love your giving spirit in the cat blogosphere...thank you for caring!  Happy Sunday!!

That's one reason it is so important to give them a sterilisation. I know the problem also here on Tenerife.

One neighbor cat got once their kitten in my bed, and I think she knew that I wouldn't bring them back....that's the reason that I have now also "outside-cats"...but I brought them to a doc for sterilisation and now they can enjoy their life.

It's horrible when people doesn't care about their pets :-(((

I feel so badly for the rough life those kitties have been thrown into... and so glad that there are humans looking out for them.

As long as there are people who care, the lot of animals everywhere will benefit. It will be hard and it will take time. Caring people deserve our thanks and help.

Love and hope makes a world of difference... and makes the world a much better place, too.

I'm sending my purrs and prayers to these lovely kitties and the wonderful people who care for them. There are twelve of us cats here, so that's a lot of purrs.

My parents had a soft spot for stray kitties. They had 7 when we sold their home after my father died. They had every cat spayed or neutered with their own money. They were not rich but knew how important that is. Their vet gave them a discount, which helped.

My eyes are still leaking from watching the video. It's good to know there are kind people in the world who are trying to help animals. Vito looked just like Buddy. I hope they all find good and loving homes. They deserve a chance at life and a safe environment.

Their trusting nature from being someones cat is their undoing and I was very saddened by this part of the video as well as seeing the horrible things the dogs to. These beautiful creatures are not sport, to either dogs or evil humans. I pray that the caretakers will get the funding they need to help as many as possible escape this beautiful hell hole.
