Yesterday it was so pretty, mommy went outside and took a photo of the cosy cottage. The blue sky matches my fuzzy blue blanket and the buttery yellow on the house matches what is in bloom in the photo below.
This is the earliest flowering shrub in the garden. The curly butter yellow blossoms are fragrant like honey and look like coconut shavings. It is mommies favorite because in the autumn the leaves are a golden yellow. It is a wonderful useful shrub and we use it's tonic for a refreshing astringent in the summer. Does anyone know what it is? First right guess gets a nice card for Saint Patricks Day!Speaking of cards...here is the card that the mommy made for the BLACK SHEEP CREAMERY. We are able to send them $80 from the auction we had for their benefit! I am so very happy about that. Thank you Tigger the FBI cat and my special friend Normie for helping the little sheep. Tigger is Pyewackets sister and Normie does not have a blog but comes to visit me often. I will show you a picture of him soon. He is a very handsome chap!
I am hiding so mommy can not put me in the envelope and send me along...

You look lovely burrowed under your blue blankie, Miss Peach. How wonderful that you raised that money for the Black Sheep Creamery. Your cottage looks beautiful!
Is the shrub witchhazel?
Are you sure your not hiding because that blanket is warm and fuzzy and comfy? That's why I'd be hiding in it!
Good Morning Sunshine!!! I am glad you are hiding as I would not wan you to be mailed away either!!!. That is a lovely card and a lovely gift too (thank you Tigger )
I will guess your tree is a Witch Hazel.

Happy late Valentines Miss Peach! We loved your cottage it is so pretty! ~Queen Snickers
Miss Peach You are just so pretty in that blanket! Well, you are always pretty, but that blanket accents your lovely fur. :) Karla is so very kind to help those poor little sheep and their beans and she sure knows how to make pretty cards. ;) I was thinking of getting a Witch Hazel tree for our yard. That early breath of Spring would be nice. Your house with it's gingerbread is just how I pictured it. Happy Day!
Love and Purrs,

You live in a beautiful cottage, Miss Peach!! And the photos your Mommy made are beautiful!
And we always enjoy the pictures of you in the fuzzy blue blanket.
The Dutch name for the shrub is "Toverhazelaar", it is a Hamamelis.
Have a wonderful weekend, our 11th kitty, and Mom and Dad!!
