At 4:30 the Birch trees in the park came alive with white lights.
Then the gingerbread houses lit the eaves and balconies and windows!
The clips below shows the lighting of the tiny Alpine town. The spreading of Christmas cheer is complete! Now where was that bratwurst stand again?
I hope you have enjoyed the little tour so far of the magical Christmas town of Leavenworth. It is wonderful here as the seasons roll into each other. This town rose up from the ashes and goes the extra mile in everything she does! Thank you for coming along so far....OK now where is that sugar coated raisin bread mommy??!

Thanks for the tour of Leavenworth. I hadn't been there in years. Glad to see it's still as magical as ever! In this iTunes, Wii, plugged in world, it is good to know kids can still be wowed by old-fashioned fun.

I think Cole is right, the place IS magical. It would be like stepping into a fantasy land for a while and experiencing nothing but fun and joy!!!
Mom says that the other good thing would be that calories don't count in fantasyland!!!

Yes, Leavenworth looks like a magical town! It is so lovely now I want to go there to experience the magic for myself. I'm thinking I may have to put this on my wishlist of places I want to visit, now that I've seen it here! Cindy at Rosehaven Cottage

I have just looked over your last few posts about Leavenworth. What a beautiful place! I'm so glad that your Mum and Lap Daddy were able to bring you along and Cole too - what a special time.
I'm going to ask my Mum how far Leavenworth is from where we live, it looks magical!

Me again - My Mum just checked and Leavenworth is only 200 miles from us - we are definately going to visit one day!
