Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

~There's Always Room~

Today all over America selfless volunteers head out with their precious charges to Pet Stores in hopes of a miracle. The Blessing of a forever home is indeed just that...a Miracle. I dedicated this poem to them today...to those who gather the hungry, the cold, the pleading, the lost, the lonely, the unwanted, the forgotten, the discarded, the abused, the hurt, the frightened, and give them this one day of HOPEFULNESS.
That means the Grout Lady from Mosaic Cats in North Carolina, and Marilyn's Mommy in Tennessee, Diana in Portland, Anita in Cape Cod, Daisy's Mommy in Florida and all those who know who you are....But more important what you are! You are made of the FIBERS OF LOVE...
If you Bigafy the photo the poem is more clear to read:)

Hey Miss Peach, pawsome poem. Every day I thank dog that I was rescued by Fox Terrier Rescue here in the UK and then went to live with J1 & J2. The volunteers who give up their free time to help others are truly inspirational. J x

Reading that gave me chills; it is very moving. Kudos to all those who volunteer their time for homeless kitties.

Grout Lady in NC is crying in her yogurt.
So very moving, Peachy Friend.
Can you believe there was talk last night of bringing in another foster?? A white male who is in a kill shelter. No word so far.
Oh yeah...Annie cuddled next to her all night last night during her insomnia fit. It's the first time she's really snuggled in close.
Uh oh Peach.
(Wait till you see what we got this week for Cat Art Sunday!)

We are all so happy to have a forever home! I think of all the creatures out there wishing to have a safe home. I hope that most of them will find one and live secure until they reach the bridge.

That poem made our eyes leak. My Mommie says that one of the very greatest joys is when a cat finds his or her forever home. Especially a cat that has been looking for a long time.

Can I share a story here? There was a cat who was surrendered about 3 or 4 months ago because the owner was in a desperate situation and no longer had a home. The cat was not really adoptable because of an "unsocial" nature. His owner has recently found a job, gotten a home, and now that his situation is improved he is going to come back this week to pick his beloved cat back up! That is going to be one fantastic reunion! Sometimes there are happy endings to even the worst situation.

Thank you, thank you! This just reaffirmed for me why we have the kitties we do at Rosehaven Cottage. I often feel like others may look upon me with scorn because of how many we have. Then I realize why we do... because there is always room for one more. Cindy at Rosehaven Cottage

Dear Miss Peach,
Thank you for your comment @ Purrchance To Dream.
You're right - there's always room in my heart for one more.
Cheers to you!

That's a very nice, heart tugging poem. My bean feels real bad still about Ragpuff. She thinks she had an opportunity and didn't take it.
The roofers were only here for those two days...but my nevers are shot. I jump at every little sound.

We are so lucky to have our own and know other beans that will help these fellow cuddly furry creatures. They deserve all the best things and care like we get every day.

It does not take so much to help, just a loving heart.

Oh, how sweet, my dear sister Peachy -- my Mom has tears in her eyes, reading that beautiful poem. Thank you so very much, dear, and know that you and your mommy are constructed of very strong and warm fibers of love, which in turn help keep all of us warm. Thank you for that, dear sister and friend, from the bottom of my (and mom's) fuzzy heart.

And you are more than welcome to use any photo from my blog that you like *smile*.

I know you do not like Temptations much, so sweet sister, I am sending you extra-big juicy Tuna Puffs. In fact, please come join me in a sister-snuggle, dear. We will purrr and purrrr for precious Ana together.

Purrs and snuggles from your loving sister,
