The cup cakes are delish...but guess what? Mommy promised me some very special cookies to give to you...she made them and forgot where she hid them from Lapdaddy. What a sad story...she better find them is all I can say. I will stomp my paws until she does....

I know that because I peeked inside my gift box last night...shhhh don't tell mommy...I have to act all surprised when I get to open it...now LET'S PARTY!! A cat only turns 18 once!!

Hello everyone! Wow I just can not believe that tomorrow will be my 18th birthday...I told mommy not to make a big fuss about me. But I do hope that you will stop by for a nice cuppa tea and some special cookies if you have time...below is one of my favorite pictures of me.My furs are still looking good in it. That was a few years ago. Time has taken it's toll on my beauty but mommy says beauty is in the heart anyway so who cares...

Mommy loves this Kim Jacobs painting because it reminds her of the cozy cottage...a little shabby chic with lots of stuff all over.

Yesterday we spent all afternoon and evening like this....in the cozy love seat with coffee and football. Mommies hair was all crazy and she had fuzzy slippers on. GO SEAHAWKS! What a great game that was...two really good teams. We are happy the Seahawks get a chance to shine...

If mommy knew how to quilt, she would make something like this. It looks so fun to gather around the milk dish and even share with the mousie...but only in your dreams. I hope to see you tomorrow for tea...no need to dress up just come as you are...the kettle will be on all day!

FROSTY FELINE FRIDAY...

January is upon us with it's frosty cold hands...one week is almost over. Mommy took some pictures last night in the dark with only the snowflake lights on...they looked so pretty and we hope you like them...the bunnies like them. So does Miss Hunny Bunny. She gets to show off for you a little bit today. Maybe Seaborne will sway in his fluffy furs if he sees her. Her eye is still a bit sore from where Scrappy Cat sucker punched her...We would like to ask all of you to please purrrr and purrrray real hard for our Buddy Cat...we have not seen him for a few weeks now and are very worried about him. Mommy even leaves the screen door to the patio open in hopes he will show up on the back step grinning in the window...come home Buddy we love you!!

Happy Birthday to my friend Nancy in Nova Scotia...she is Mickey's mommy...hey that makes her my mother-in-law! This will be a fun birthday month. I will be 18 next Monday! I am one lucky old cat to be so well loved and looked after.
It is very cold here right now and I am sleeping the day away on my heated pad...hope you all stay warm and happy. Love Misses Peach

Next Monday on the 10th will be my 18th birthday...never did we expect that I would grow up to such a ripe young age. I was sooooo sick in the autumn of 2007 that I almost died. Your purrrrrs and love helped pull me through that dreadful time. I am so thankful to be well and happy at the cozy cottage. I will have a small tea party next Monday and hope you can stop over. Mommy promised to have a very special German cookie for all of you...

A NEW YEAR DAWN UPON US AT THE COZY COTTAGE...

Last night was wonderful having Cole here with us to usher in the new year. Just before midnight, he filled Oma's vintage champagne flutes with Coca Cola for us.
Mommy made this ATC with a tape transfer...you can do it too. Use masking tape over any magazine image...rub it hard with the back of a spoon...cut it out...soak in water for 1/2 hour...rub all the backing paper off and the image stays like magic! The first sunshine of the new year made the table look so magical...

CHEERS DEARS....things go better with Coca Cola...

Helena sent this beautiful Christmas card showing me of course...the detail is so amazing...each tiny stroke place with greatest care...

Mommy loves this picture of her beloved Bavaria in winter....she gets very homesick...

HAPPY NEW YEAR AND MY NEW BRUSH...

Mommy got me a new brush so I can sharpen my face on it. I LOVE to do that because it feels soooo good. Santa was good to me...yesterday I slept from 2 in the afternoon until 10:30 at night without a single wake up. Mommy kept thumping me with her head to make me move...I wonder why? We were both pretty inactive because mommy's back is all hurty again. She didn't even do anything to it...just while she was brushing her hair...out it went. Well that means no new years eve rumpus for her...just laying around like a cat...hey that's not so bad! Watching Mannheim Steamroller and the ice skaters on DVR for the 10th time!! We wish you a wonderful slide into the new year tonight...Cole will be here with us...that makes us all happy.

SOMETHING FUN?

I thought today might be a good time for some fun...make some collages with the items mommy selected for us to play with. We hope this will work...it is a new feature and we are trying it out. Maybe you will enjoy it as much as mommy does and become addicted to Polyvore like thousands of other people...then you will never get any housework done or laundry or decent meals on the table or emails returned or or or...you get the picture...now play and make one!

HOLIDAY THIS AND THAT....

Our first day at Depoe Bay began with a rainbow....how cool is that for the middle of winter at the ocean!But then it went down hill for a while because I had to have a bath...we wont tell why...
Had to pout a little bit before I went to sleep...on my heated pad of course...in my velvet sleeping bag...

A stop outside of Portland at the mens favorite foodie place! That is Cole and his daddy Oliver...wow Cajun mashed potatoes and spicy gravy...yummy yummy yummy!!!

Well he loves it at the ocean view from our rooms...

Sorry we forgot to post on Monday...we forgot what day it was...geez someone is getting old around here...and it is not me either! Just because I will be 18 years old on January 10, does not mean I am a forgetful cat...
