Gosh we love autumn here at the cozy cottage. Mommy will fix some special tea that Luna sent her from Germany today...it is perfect for a windy day! care to join me? There is a cinnamon roll left that I will share...

Oh the warm sunshine feels so good on my fur...I am glad to be in my front window seat again! Hmmmm.... I wonder if I could sleep inside the happy pumpkin? Do you think it is a good idea?

MONDAY MONDAY, SO GOOD TO ME!

Good mews here at the cozy cottage today! I have been sprung from jail, and I have the paperwork to prove it! Released for good behavior....duh, how much trouble can I get into sleeping inside of a grocery sack? First thing I am going to do is..........no not THAT again............I am going to sleep for the rest of the day! Mommy took pity on me last night and allowed me to sleep in the bed with her tucked up cozy and safe inside her arms. Ahhh life is good again around here, but not in Boston if you are a Red Sox fan. We hang our heads in shame....See you all tomorrow.

The Ghost kitty rides again, that is as long as she stays out of jail!

We just love black cats at Halloween time...mommy has a nice collection. The little ATC in the center came all the way from Luna in Germany. It is a purrrrfect addition!

Take a look at the huge keys!! Can you figure out what the belong to? They belong to the jail cells my Lapdaddy in charge of in his jail. He said he would take me there if I pee on top of the fridge again! Sassy said she and the CCSI gang would break me out of jail if that happens. It is so good to have friends who care...

PARTY IN MY MOUTH!

Well at least my kitty friends still love me. Thank you for all of your visits to my jail cell yesterday. It was good to have some company. Today the mailman brought me some yummy gourmet cat food from my special tiny friend Normie. It has spinach and brown rice in it and boy is it ever good!
Have any of you tried this new cat food yet? I licked all of the gravy for starters... thank you Normie for being so kind as to feed me while I am in jail. I think it is going to be a big hit around here.
OK turn on the faucet...I am thirsty now!!!
Oh and I spent the day sleeping in the dirt out in the patio garden strip that had the hostas in it. The evening was spent sleeping in my litter box. I don't have a clue yet where I will spend the night...Oh woe is me...

I AM GROUNDED FOR THE REST OF THE MONTH NOW!!

Here is a letter to Miss Peach wrote to her friend Normie last night:

Oh Normie! Life is the pits here right now. Man oh man I am in sooooooo much trouble tonight!!! More than I have ever been in trouble. Mommy has been spoiling me all day long and being so nice to me. I even got to drink a little bit out of the kitchen faucet (don't tell my Lapdaddy or mommy will get in trouble). Then I did the unthinkable...........I jumped back up on top of the refrigerator and mommy heard this rush of water and thought she left the faucet on but looked up at me and saw me peeeeeeeeing on top of the fridge!!!!!! She grabbed me in mid pee and dumped me outside in the garage and shut the cat door so I could not get back inside the house. SHE IS SO MAD AT ME! I just don't know what I was thinking while I was doing this unthinkable thing Normie...maybe I have Alzheimer's or something like that. I did see that mommy put my frying pan on the shelf for me to sleep it off in. I think I am grounded for a month now. I hope you still love me...no one else around here does until Cole comes back next Tuesday...Hanging my head in shame, love your Peachy

NATIONAL FERAL CAT DAY!!!

And homeless near a 1000 homes I stood,

And near a 1000 tables pined and wanted food......

~~Wordsworth~~ Today is NATIONAL FERAL CAT DAY! So to honor all the feral cats who have passed through the cozy cottage garden we dedicate our post to them! Please meet Mama Kitty and Big Daddy and their QTPA2T kittens. These adult cats both showed up in our garden together one day many years ago. She was round with a belly full of kittens and both were so friendly. We began feeding them and hoped she would have the kits close by. One morning she came to eat all slimmed down...she had the kits somewhere...BUT WHERE!? We searched the gardens around our house high and low, but nothing. We then watched as Mama brought the kittens from a wood pile across the street into our garden and after a few weeks, there was not a hosta leaf left standing.BIG DADDY and MAMA KITTY, she had a cute heart shaped little nose.

And now Hunny Bunny and Buddy are in our garden. The elusive white kitten has been coming closer each day...last night before mommy went to bed she looked out the window and saw the elusive kitten chasing the leaves around in the moonlight...that made her smile. Buddy is growing less scairty of us too.

I AM GROUNDED FOR THE WEEK!!

First I got caught eating some of Hunny Bunny's foods. HEY, it's junk food and I like it!! OK...can you guess what I did here!?
Something is missing from the top of the cold box! My Party Mix is in time out up on the tippy top shelf. I am hanging my head in shame...Miss Hazel feels sorry for me....
The afternoon shadows fall softly, even when you are grounded...
At least I have something real nice to see outside my front window...autumn has touched the Cherokee Daybreak Dogwood with pink edges and bright berries that the hungry birds will come and help themselves to as soon as it gets cold.
Well....wherever am I going to sleep now??

LAZY AUTUMN MONDAY....

Looking out the window will be a new pass time for me soon. The chill of autumn is in the air and the cozy cottage never felt better. Soon mommy and Lapdaddy will have this to deal with...
Until then, I am content to snooze on the bed when I am out of my box for a quick change of scenery...
In the garden I still have some nice fuzzy visitors on the Michaelmas daisies...

Nope, there was nothing else except the sweetest note from my friend Ms. Tina who likes me a lot for some reason. She saw this mini~me in the store and had to get it to give to me. Isn't that so nice of her? THANK YOU SO MUCH dear Tina!
I am naming her Coco because she is as stylish as Coco Chanel in her sweet pill box hat and leopard print coat. Jacqui Kennedy would be so proud of this outfit too!Have a wonderful fun and happy Sunday everyone...and stay warm as the frost is on the pumpkins...
