MONDAY ON MAUI!

Today I am back in Hawaii! I went to a Tropical Plantation where I saw things wild and amazing.Coffee is what mommy needs in the morning when she wakes up! Some of the best in the world grows in Hawaii. Kona coffee is amazing!
This is what an unroasted coffee bean looks like. Most fruits have 2 beans inside of them. Premium coffee is made with fruit that only has one large bean inside. All the flavor goes into the one bean making it more tasty and spendy.
You must wait until the fruit is nice and red before you can pick and roast it.
Mommy brought back a half suitcase full of all kinds of coffee! Time to brew a cup full to get this week going right...
I even got to climb a coconut palm tree all the way to the top!! Raw fresh coconut is wonderful to eat. Mommy loves it in MOUNDS candy bars or coconut shrimps!

Mommy put a cushion on the Promenade deck table...I prefer to spend my time on the Lido deck with the food!
I finally got my daybed back! We are ready for summer to begin now...
Well...everything was nice and clean except me! Can you guess what happened? It has been a long winter and we welcome this first dinner of grilled salmon and dirty rice out on the patio. Mommy even served me my stinky goodness outside too! TODAY WE GIVE THANKS FOR OUR MANY BLESSINGS...Have a wonderful Sunday.

SUNNY SATURDAY....

I think Spring is spent! All the dogwood blossoms have fallen about the back garden.

Well the patio is squeaky clean and my Lapdaddy painted my favorite wicker table I love to lay on. Mommy will find a nice cushion of me to enjoy my time in the sunshine this summer. I hope everykitty has a beautiful weekend.

GETTING READY FOR SUNNY FRIDAY!

My grandbean, Cole, was here yesterday. He loves to dress up like a pirate and play funny games. He is very happy with the mailman because he brought the long awaited baseball tickets for a special game on Memorial day!!!!! The Seattle Mariners and the Boston Red Sox!!! Yes a little boys dreams can come true...
Today it is going to be very warm here in the desert. Mommy is cleaning the patio. Washing everything down and Lapdaddy will mop the tile floor...then we will bring our all the pillows for the daybed so I can sleep on them if I so chose...Yesterday I spent the afternoon on the patio too as you can see being comfortably OUT of the IN BOX! But I am back in there again tonight. Mommy put a small cushion in there for me so my old bones do not get too sore...Lapdaddy just wants his in box back...all his papers are being stacked up in other places where he can not find them. I will let you know when I am done with your IN BOX Lapdaddy.

Mommies sonbean gave her these roses for Mothers Day.
The Lapdaddy gave mommy these roses for Mothers Day...she hangs the roses to dry when they are done looking beautiful and enjoys them just as much...

According to wiselore, fairies certainly exist as dwellers in an etheral dimension.Fairies are very wary ans suspicious of humans, they believe them to be responsible for the pillage and destruction of the kingdom of nature(their home) Fairies, however embraces cats into their world, it is said that if a brownie or other household spirit were present in a house, the cat would know and would communicate the intelligence to its owner.

I am still spending ALL of my time snoozing in the IN BOX. This is worrying mommy because she misses me. I do not sleep with her at night anymore, because I am in the IN BOX. I do not come and sit with her or Lapdaddy in the parlor in the evening, because I am in the IN BOX. I think they both want their Velcro kitty back! Lapdaddy is tired of collecting up the papers from around the office floor each morning...those that I kick out.
