SLOWLY, SLOWLY, SLOWLY

We are slowly beginning to feel better again here in the cozy cottage...sleeping has been the order of the day and night. If we had our way, we would never get out of bed again...but we have no staff so that would not do us well in the long run. Lapdaddy has been so good to us, feeding us and fetching this and that from the store...now he is getting a little under the weather too. I know all will be well again once the first warm rays of spring come to stay...we thank you all ever so much for your wonderful well wishes. It means the world to us to know you are so kind to us.

Miss Hunny Bunny is here to show off the beautiful mohair blanket dearest ML and Auntie Deb had sent to us. Bunny is not sure she is allowed to be on it so this is what we watched her do...ever so gently she is placing one paw on it...

then it scooted a bit and she worried about that...

but it felt so good she really wanted to make some bread on it...she finally walked over it and jumped down off the window... Maybe soon she will give it another try...

OK here is the scoop...the report is good because you are a faithful blogger mommy, and never miss a posting day...BUT you do not let me visit my furrrriends as often as you used too!! For that you get a bad mark! You spend too much time playing in the art room each day and not enough time helping me stay connected. Purrrrrty soon everyone will forget me....friendships we form on the Cat Blogosphere need to be cultivated gently and appreciated greatly!! You don't help me do that enough... so there, now you know how I really feel... by the way!!! I haven't given a tea party in months!!!!! shhhesh I should go and move in with Auntie Deb and the Taylor cats

WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY...

We are so happy at the cozy cottage today....guess who is coming for the weekend?
Isn't Cole getting more handsome all the time, he is going to be a teenager this year!...I can't wait until Friday...there is going to be lots of cuddle time. Even Hunny Bunny is happy...

We hope you are having a great week so far...it is raining here and we like how fresh it makes the ground look after the gray of winter. A flock of birds in the backyard woke us up this morning...we think they are looking for spring!!

There are no words to describe how lucky I feel to be loved...loved by my wonderful husband cat Mickey who holds the key to my heart in his paw, loved by my mommy and Lapdaddy, loved by my Cole...but most of all...loved by ALL OF YOU!!! My little heart thanks you for all that love and returns it to you thousand fold!

CAT ART SUNDAY...

Hello everyone and welcome to cat art Sunday...this pretty kitty I am sitting by is one of the oldest cats in the house. It first came to live with mommy in 1978. She got it in Gettysburg when she lived there...yep it is an old timer...kind of quiet and keeps to itself...real purrrrdy though.

Mommies collages this week are all sort of LOVE related....tomorrow is St. VALENTINE'S DAY you know...we love the kitties in the one below...a purrrrrfect valentine!

MY LAPDADDY ON TV!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Today I have something interesting to show you. My Lapdaddy was in a TV commercial. We wanted to show it to you so you could hear his cool accent. He is from Ireland don't ya know! Maybe he will become famouse now and Hollywood will call before they call for Hunny Bunny...

I FOUND IT, I FOUND IT!!!

Well, I finally found it! Mommy brought the beautiful mohair blanket from the box and put it on the sofa...just look at how purrrrfectly peachy it is... It matches my furs and is just as soft! There are deliCAT golden threads woven all throughout that shimmer when the sunshine lands just right. Mommy said this a a supervise blanket and I will be able to snuggy under it when we both sit on the sofa ...that is fair (I think) because it will be special.my mini me's want to stay on the mohair blanket with me...
I am such a happy lucky old kitty girl...thank you forever dearest ML and Auntie Deb...you are an old cats best friends.

Ahhhh how nice and warm....

I can hide inside and no one would even know I am in here....

VALENTINE CHARM...

So here are some of the Valentine's mommy has been working on....the sun was shining in the window and made the German glass dust sparkle and there is even a rainbow if you look close....she also decorated the mantle with a little bit of romantic Valentine stuff...
Well here I am once again hiding my head in some shame...
Mommy has pinned a waterproof pad under my blanket because I ...well...I don't always wake up in time to make it to the little girls room. Hey I am 18 years old and forget, maybe I need an alarm clock or something!

Lapdaddy and I are taking a nice nappy under our snugglies..

Mommy will not give me the gifty that came from our ML and Auntie Deb...she said something about how it would not last out the day unless closely supervised with me in her lap...so she hid it from me!!!!!...well phoooooy is all I can say to that!!! Come back Wednesday (I will find it by then!) and I will show you who is boss around the cozy cottage....that box had MY NAME on it!!!!

CAT ART SUNDAY...

My dear friend SINDA has been called to the rainbow bridge after being a faithful wonderful companion for over 20 years...mommy Tina and the Shepherd are dreadfully sad and lonely now. Not too long ago their beautiful ginger Sinda went to prepurrrrr the way...I know there is a happy reunion at the rainbow bridge. They did not always see eye to eye while wandering around the farm, but in heaven we hold a joyous celebration when a new angel gets it's wings...please stop and say a "we are sad with you" if you have the time this week. We senior kitties know how precious each and everyday is...

Mommy is pretty speachless about something that arrived in the mail this weekend...we will show you soon. All we can say is the ML and Auntie Deb are going to have to stop being spendthrifts or the Lapdaddy said we might have to move so they can't find us...(hee hee like that is going to happen)

STRESSED OUT BLUES....

At least mommy changed my wallpaper to something fresh and Valentinish...we are reallllllllly tired of snowy cold stuff now...

Mommy has the blues...while she has a new Cadillac of computers, there are gremlins around! No email yet and no address book! Getting all her files from the old PC is quite a job. We have a new PC, new printer, new router, new laser mouse...(WHAT A NEW MOUSE? How come I wasn't informed about that!?) but nothing is talking to each other. How can that be? Are they all mad at each other? Needless to say, we need to have the Geek Squad come by and organize our technical lives for us before we go bonkers! With 4 computers and 2 printers, that is no easy task. Mommy is not getting a good report card from either...she is not helping me visit all of you like I would think proper. She is a slacker and stays in her craft room lots right now making Valentine's for her cat card club. So what is a cat to do other than sleep the days away during this nasty cold spell...maybe when spring rolls around we will wake up like the bears. We wish you a sweet SUPER BOWL weekend and hope your team wins...

HOW COOL IS THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These beautiful watercolor paintings came from the studio of our friend Lorraine Layne...she is an awesome artist and helps feral kitties with spay and neuter programs. Mommy loves her artwork...and thinks it will go purrrrfectly in the rest of this story because the kitties look like they should be on wine bottles too....well you better read on down below

(opps how did this get loaded up...Ok this car is Lapdaddy's dream car...we think it is pretty cool. It belongs to Lapdaddy's best friend...) But this is what is REALLY COOL!! While the beans were shopping for their foodies...this is what mommy saw on the shelf! At first she thought is was a missing cat poster

but upon closer examination she read that the winery has adopted these abandoned furries and is making wine to help profit homeless cats!!

We think this is so awesome...Washington state has over 60,000 acers of Vineyards and makes some of the best wine in the world...this Winery makes wine with HEART!!
