Hello everyone! Cole here today on this never to happen again date of 10/10/10....This was my birthday week and my daddy took me to Portland! We brought back this pink box full of wonderful goodies from the best doughnut shop in all of America. VOODOO DOUGHNUTS has been rated the #1 place to get goodies on the Food Network and the Travel Channel. BACK IN THE FLOWER BED...OR SHOULD I SAY, STILL IN THE FLOWER BED!

Remember last Friday when I showed you my flowers I was sleeping under...
well, here I am again or still...doing my praying mantis imitation pose...trying to get comfy with a stick in the way and a dumb bunny staring in my face...
Mommy felt sorry for me sleeping in the dirt and leaves. So she made Lapdaddy cut out a chunk of carpet pad to lay under me so I would not get so dirty. Heck, I sleep in my litter box so who cares about a little dirt!?

If you bigafy the pictures, you will see what I did to the pad. Yep, I shredded it with my furniture shredders and got the little puffs all over me. Hee hee, they stuck like Velcro and mommy was ticked! Ahh the good life and living it my way at the cozy cottage!

I REMEMBER OCTOBER OF 2007~LIVESTRONG!!!

Today I remember when this card arrived for my precious Miss Peach...
She was deathly ill and laying by the fire...
I thought her days were few and I prayed the words of the card to come true!
AND THEN THEY DID!!!
LIVESTRONG AND NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!!!

CAT ART SUNDAY~LIVESTRONG

All day yesterday as we were out and about, we watched people. How could they all have known to wear yellow?? We saw so many who had on yellow clothing...almost as if they knew how we were celebrating LIVESTRONG. It was a wonderful reflective day...we will never forget how it made us feel at the cozy cottage...thank you all for being a part of our lives!

WE LIVESTRONG AT THE COZY COTTAGE!

Thank you Milo and Alfie, Zoolatry, Chandra and all those who helped put this event together!

This is my before mommy. Her name was Kitty. She is wearing her favorite yellow swaeter. She died of cancer after four short months. During those months she LIVED STRONG! One beautiful evening watching the sun set over the desert she said these unforgettable words to us, "I never knew how beautiful life could be."
I am a cancer survivor. I had a huge tumor on my belly. Two Easters ago it was removed. I am a very happy cat at almost 18 years old. I live each day to the fullest and know I am valuable to those I share my heart with. My tumors are slowly growing back again...I did not want to tell you that but I feel I need to set a good example for LIVESTRONG. We can endure with courage and dignity...keep the faith and have hope that we might inspire someone along their rocky road. Thank you for being my friends and helping along on my road. I know one day I can sit in my mommy Kitty's lap and meow to her, " I knew how beautiful life was and now I am here with you forever." Till that fateful day comes...it is business as usual at the cozy cottage. Days filled with love and beauty and a few tack weeds here and there.

FLOWERY FELINE FRIDAY

The is mommies favorite autumn flower...the Michaelmas Daisy. It comes in so many pretty colors and we wish we had more of them. They tend to get leggy and are prone to powdery mildew so they need haircuts during the summer months to keep them compact. Heck but we are too lazy to do that, besides it is too hot in the summer here to do much gardening.
So you will have to biggy the picture to find me sleeping under the daisy bush.

I am resting my head on the sweet little bunny, he didn't mind.

And also keeping an eye out for furry guests coming into the garden

I am safe inside the screened in patio...but I did get a tack weed on my butt last night and mommy needed a tweezer to get it off. Never a dull moment at the cozy cottage...see you all tomorrow for LIVESTRONG blog event...

Geez mommy, that's no bug. It is just a piece of a leaf. It is autumn you know and they are beginning to fall...can I go back to sleep now and finish dreaming about Seaborne? Maybe someday he might ask for my paw in marriage...sigh...a girl can dream can't she?

Once again we are so sad to learn of a dear fur friends trip to the rainbow bridge. So young with so much to still accomplish, Yuu~Chan leaves a big whole in the heart of his beloveds...they have been so sad over the loss of Sen~Chan last year. Sweet little red cats are greeting each other in the heavyside layers...

Sometimes I wish her computer would break down...but that is a stupid idea because then I could not blog either! Oh well, I guess I better go and take a nap.

Yesterday was such a sleepy day at the cozy cottage...we all took naps after church from 4 till almost 9 o'clock! We won't say who slept the whole time...can you guess?
