This beautiful card came to us from SHELL'S mommy with one of our auction wins that she had donated...
A thank you was penned inside...it made us cry... 
As an artist myself, I must say that I adore this simple poignant card with it's soft watercolor wash. It is filled with emotion for me when I look upon it. The tiny kitty waiting at the big window...waiting waiting waiting...just as SHELL did for so long. We must try to live in those ordinary tiny moments that come along each day...moments others are too busy to even notice. That little bird singing in the tree...the tulips nodding in the windy rain...watching a car hurry down the road carrying a loved one home to someone waiting for them....

Speaking of cars and loved ones...I get to go with the beans and my best friend Cole to Leavenworth for this week! Mommy is homesick again and needs her portion of Germany...if we have internets there, we will try to post. Please do not forget us until we return, we will miss you all.

Oh what a terrific card -- I have several cards of cats at windows or doors but this one is very special -- the color amd simplicity just makes one feel the emotion. Whenever I see a cat sitting at a window or door, wanting in -- I feel so sad. I just want to go right to the house and knock on the door and say: let the cat in!!! Thanks for sharing such a special card. I also love the new kitty at the top of the blog.
