REJOICE....

Though there is pain in the night....JOY comes in the morning! 

We are so thankful for the rescue and reunions of dogs and cats and horses that we have seen in the aftermath of this dreadful disaster in our heartland...We mourn the loss of life...we rejoice in gladness at the lowering of the toll.

HUNNY BUNNY GAVE ME HER SUN PUDDLE!!!!!!

Mommy could not believe this scene today!  Hunny Bunny moved into the shadow and gave me her sun puddle!  Miss Bunny is a kind and gentle ladycat...I knew that all along.  We are all so happy that there is peace in the cozy cottage...small home with lots of love for two sweet girl cats.  Wishing everyone a beautiful Sunday filled with love and magic...coffee and chocolate cake makes it even better.

JUST ANOTHER RAINY SUNDAY...

sxz   Miss Hope typed those letters...she is always getting into and onto things...including the sunpuddles in my window when the sun is out...not today because it is raining of course.  I do not get to go outside when it rains because my furs get wet, but I still sit by the door and beg to go out.  So it is good to take a nap.  Mommy and Lapdaddy like to take naps when they can...Hope snuggles with one of them, the one who has the down comforter on their laps.  We needed the warmth of the down comforter last week because our heating machine went to the bridge...a big truck and some nice men brought us a new one and we are toasty once again...but poor as church mice now is what Lapdaddy says...wonder if those mice are tasty because I think there will be lots of cut backs around the cozy cottage from now on.  We count our many blessings and are thankful for the trials that make us stronger in the end...  Wishing you all a wonderful happy Sunday.

HOPE IS GROWING FURRY LEGS!!!!!

 Just look at my beautiful nakked baby girl....

 over the past few weeks...

 I have noticed that she has been growing a velvety soft layer of downy furs on her legs!  SO soft...I love my little kitty so much...she is just precious!

HAPPY ANNIBIRTHARY TO MOMMY AND LAPDADDY!

 It is not a good time for mommy to be sick on their 17th anniversary!  She has been icky all week with a cough like a walrus.  But tonight they will be at their favorite pizza place wiht the kids to celebrate Lapdaddies birthday...yeah 74!!!

 This beautiful SHELLY China tea set is mommies gift!  It came from God via Goodwill with a tag of $1.99!!!!  Unheard of because this tea cup is worth over $200!  The best thing is that it is a soft Peachy color...we know that Miss Peach also had a velvet paw in this somehow.  She had me find it special on that dusty shelf last Sunday, as a thank you for auctioning off all her precious Squillions for ML.  The little charmers brought around $130!  We are so thrilled how this all unfolded....it is a blessed day for all of us to celebrate life and love and friendship!

Hi mommy....it is so pretty out in the spring garden!  Where are the birdies?

OH NO ON WORDLESS WEDNESDAY...

My 35 year old Steiff Ratty has lost his ears....wonder how that happened?  If you click on the last picture, you can see what the Ratty is suppose to look like new and how much it will cost to replace it...I do not think we will make that investment...

A LITTLE RAIN MUST FALL...

We do think Spring is here because our flowers tell us that...this weekend it has been colder with lots of wind and some rain.  The Montana rainbow river rock is so beautiful when it gets wet.  We are glad we have put it in our yard so many good old years ago...we could not afford to buy it anymore because it now costs $128 a yard!  It is a good thing that rain is still free...and faith and hope...Happy Monday everyone!

SUNSHINE ON MY EAR MAKES ME HAPPY...

It will rain this next week...so we are enjoying every bit of sunshine we can get.  Mommy loves the rain because she has reverse SAD....lapdaddy hates it because he is ready for sunshine!  I just want to be able to finally go out into the patio I keep hearing so much about...  Have a wonderful weekend dear friends and remember to count your blessings...

IN MEMORY OF WILLOW...

Willow has been our beautiful friends since we first began our bloggy in 2006...she has flown free into heaven at only 9 years old.  Willow and China Cat often came to the cozy cottage for Miss Peach's tea parties.  Our hearts are sad for her humans and China Cat...please pay a short visit and leave some soft purrrrs for them by clicking on the picture.  When a beloved leaves our hearts, we need to know that somecat cares.  It has been a sad week indeed for our icon blogger kitties...

We mourn the loss of Sanjee...an icon of the cat blogosphere...beloved girl heart cat of our own Mom Robyn who founded the Cat Blogosphere so many years ago.  We all know the pain of loss, how sad our hearts are when the journey of a dear friend begins to the rainbow bridge.  Until we meet again one fine day...we wish you a journey filled with light...  please leave some soft purrs for Mom Robyn and the rest of the Hotties by clicking on the angel image.

 A bit of vintage Easter to cheer in the springtime...so many of you are still in a big chill...we do Hope warmth will come soon to stay.  Our down comforters are still on our beds at nightime.

 Easter is so early this year, we just had St Paddy's day!  ...what do we look forward to now in April?

The most beautiful things we have at the cozy cottage have come to us from the loving hands of dear ML and Auntie Deb.  Now it is OUR time to give some of our beautiful things to an auction to help ML and her kitties.

When we first joined the CB way back in 2007...Miss Peach gave her first Tea Party and served tea in her little kitty tea pot...now it can be yours.  I asked Angel Peach if she would mind if I gave it to the auction along with all of her beautiful Squillions...she said, "How wonderful...please do!"  Please watch the for auction news on the CB that the items are ready for bid...  We love helping our friends because they have first helped us! 

Each one of our beautiful Squillions will be up for adoption...they are a rare and endangered breed, specially the Meezer!  We will tell you how we got each of the Squillions this week...they all have names and came from CB'ers you know and love.
