MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

CAT ART SUNDAY~THE THANKFUL MONTH BEGINS!

This beautiful card was made by Billie's mommy Lorianna! She used a kitty button to show me laying on the doorstep of the cozy cottage! Kitty buttons are so cool! Please look at the Three Calico Sisters below...don't you just love those button kitty faces! Please adopt them!!!! They are for sale!!!
These adorable fuzzy cat pins are up for adoption to help beautiful calico Callie the 18 year old beloved kitty who lives at Artsy Catsy. She needs to go to the Vet because she is losing weight. Please bid here (left, right, center kitty) until Wednesday midnight. Thank you so much in the name of all sick senior kitties...

These Maui pearls are to help Criz and kitty Janice.

I am so thankful for this past year. I have spent it surrounded by your love and mostly in good health all things considered. Mommy and Lapdaddy are so thankful for each day that they have me close by. I am a lucky cat that is for sure. Today mommy cut the last pretty rose from the cozy cottage garden...the garden is going to sleep. If you click on the link below, you can see how I spend the days in the garden this summer. http://www.jacquielawson.com/viewcard.asp?code=1562095505307&source=jl999
There are many kitties who are not as lucky as I am right now. Criz's kitty Janice is being held hostage by her Vet until her bill is paid!! That is outrageous! Our southern gentleman Beau has offered this pretty bracelet set up for auction to help spring kitty Janice from jail. I know what it is like to be in jail! This is what cats do best...helping each other in times of need. Please honor Beaus' kindness with your bidding on HIS blog (click this link). Oh and while I was clearing out my jewelry box, I decided to part with my own personal freshwater pearl necklace I bought for myself in Maui this spring. It is lovely in shades of pastel like a sunset sky. Please consider it generously to help Criz. You can bid until Tuesday at midnight here on my blog. We are all so blessed...remember that love is not love until you give it away...

You are right Miss Peach every day has been a gift with you this year, you have been there for me turning from a kitten into a full grown ladycat for a start! You have also been there for me as I came home from my first trip to see a big gorgeous Mancat and get myself a belly full of 'ickle baby kittens. You've fussed over me and made me rest so that I had the energy to cope with a nest full of pretty kittens and here I am now looking at visiting a new and even more gorgeous Mancat soon to get myself a new belly full of pretty 'ickle kittens! Oh wow what a year it has been and all along the way you've been there for me! :)

You really are the very bestest of Ladies in Waiting and I don't know how I could have done it all without you! I mean what would I have called my own sweet daughter, if not for you?!

I love you Miss Peach!

Purrs,
Isis

Sadly, what Criz's vet is doing is not unusual today. Many vets in the US won't let you run up a bill and those that do can, by law, hold the animal "hostage" until the bill is paid. Since animals are still considered property, if the bill is not paid in full, the animal becomes the property of the vet to be PTS, sold, taken to the shelter, whatever. Sad, but true.

And very scary!

Oh my... that's so wonderful of you to help Janice out Miss Peach. It's an honor to know such great friends as you around the CB. In fact, Janice was brought home this morning to my relief. Well, there's still bills of the other J Kitties that need to be settled as well. At least the vet is considerate enough to let me pay as I could within the next 3 months. It's really stressful to have so many down sick at the same time but now all well should ends well right? Thanks a lot!

You can check out the homecoming queen post today.

It's not midnight where you are, yet, so I think we can get our bid in.
KC would like to bid $10. each on two of tha purrty Calico Sisters.
Don't you think that would cheer Auntie Deb to get those? Maybe she could take them with her to the hospital, when she has to leave her own calico girls behind.
Love and Purrs,
ML & KC
