MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

MOMMY FEELS GUILTY FOR LEAVING ME!!

First thing this morning, before mommy even had her coffee, I heard her sewing away! She made me a catnip pillow....
I know it is a bribe of some kind. It sure did smell good and she used a piece of the autumn scrap I love so much.
I rubbed it all over my furs.
I knew it! A BRIBE! She also made me another new place to sleep because she wants me to stay inside the house at night now. It is a storage box with my purr pad I got from Dragonheart inside of it. She cut a nice opening and stuffed the box inside a pretty pillow case...I checked it out and walked away with my nose up in the air.
Mommy then put the new sleeping box on top of one of my favorite places...the Cold Box. Would you sleep in this thing? I am not too sure about it myself...

The cozy cottage is almost back to normal and I hope to be able to come by for a visit with you soon. We are busy trying to find a good place for Hunny Bunny to sleep that will also shelter her during the cold that will be coming real soon. We don't want her to sleep under the house next door this winter so she needs to get used to a nice shelter here in our cozy garden. She brought her white kitten to eat on our deck today so that is a good sign. Buddy has been by to eat also. He is still a bit upset at us because while we were gone...he had his Hoo Haaaas stolen. So now ALL the Hunny Bunny clan has been de~kitten factoried except the elusive white kitten. Please keep your paws crossed for us to be able to catch the it.

Miss Peach - this is Trixie here. Mom got all new bedding and it came in a big box which was MINE!

I only had it for one day and mom cut it up in front of me, and then she burned it in the fireplace!

*frown*
*sulk*

I don't WANT the new cot blanket that arrived to go on top of the new bedding.

I just wanted my box. :(

Good Morning Sunshine!!!!! <3
Bribe or not, that is a neat catnip pad!!! I would like it too ;)
The thing about that new sleeping spot is that you ignore it for a long time and when your Mom is ready to take it away,go sleep in it!!! Heehee
That really drives them nuts !!
I am happy things are getting back to normal. I am very happy, too, that the little white kitty is back :)
I look forward to coming for tea and hearing about your week !!!
See you soon!!!!!

Well Miss Peach....while that is not the grandest of snuggle places, it was made with tons of love and will keep you nice and warm. We think you should at least crawl in there and give it a snooze or two for a trial run.

That catnip toy looks wonderful! And to get it even before your Mom got her coffee.....isn't that almost a miracle?

We will purr and purr for the white kitten to be caught and for Hunny Bunny and Buddy to warm righ tup to the nice sleeping place that is being made for them.

Those pics of you rubbing the nip pillow are great! IT must have primo nip in it.
Your mom can find instructions for various cat shelter boxes on line. There is one made out of a rubbermaid box that is a good one.

Our paws are definately crossed, Miss Peach.
Is the box too small for u? Or the decoration is lacking??
We have to admire your Mommie's talent in her DIY 'house-building' though. :D

Hello Miss Peach!
I enjoyed the story of your mom trying to lure you into that box. It's so much fun to snoopervise them doing sensible things and then to walk away with an indignant, stiff tail. That was really nice of you beeing a CATpanion to your Mommy's Mom! Siena
Hallo auch von mir! Die Dallmayr Dose hätte mich früher oder später stutzig gemacht. ; )
Liebe Grüße aus dem herbstlichen Deutschland!
