MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

THE TIME HAS COME......WE ARE WAITING FOR THE ICKLE KITTENS TO BE BORN!

Oh sometimes it is hard waiting...
This weekend Isis is going to be such a sweet little mommy!
Please join me for a Lady In Waiting Tea Party all weekend. It can be any minute now!
I wonder how many ickle kittens will hatch?
Here is a diary entry from Isis mommy: March 8th 2008!
The big day is here, but as yet no sign of the kittens leaving their warm spot inside Isis! She’s certainly very close to having them, but we’ll just have to wait and see… Her weight is holding steady at 4.4Kg and she’s still very happy and active, though much more vocal and affectionate. We’re therefore keeping her company and fussing her on demand – luckily she’s been enjoying watching Crufts and the like with us, between bouts of nest making! ;)

Miss Peach, my sister keeps treating me like a kitten! I've been bathed unmercifully and I can tell you it's all very undignified... The kittens are still enjoying the warmth of Isis innards, but her milk is starting to look like it's coming in. She's had a hearty breakfast and scoffed some Gorgonzola fresh from the Italian Market at lunch! Yes she's defiantly pregnant! ;)

She's snuggled up with Dad now, but spent the morning snuggling My Mummy and me! :) It could still be a day or two, but Mummy tends to think we're in the final 24-48 hrs now... Once she has the kittens My Mummy says she won't worry about washing me so much, so I want them here now!!! ;)

Purrs,
Ramses

Yes, we see where your mom gave you a feather duster, but we don't think that would have helped very much last night. She knows you didn't do it on purpose.

Must be exciting waiting for the kittens to be born.

From the Diary at the Breeders
March 9th 2008

12:23am - The first kitten arrived, shortly followed by his brother just over 10 mins later.

12:54am – Our little girl arrived, she’s very much like her mum Isis in colouring it seems! She’s very lively too! :)

1:33am – One more boy arrived to make it a total of four in the litter, it’s now gone 3:30am and Isis and kittens are going very well. All the kittens are lively and nursing, plus they all weighed in at a little over 100g at birth – so good healthy weights! I’ve hopefully got a photo or two, but I’ll see tomorrow if they turned out ok. We’ll photograph each kitten at weighing in tomorrow after what we all hope to be a restful night for what’s left of it… ;)

Isis and Dan’s Kittens arrived March 9th 2008!
