MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

CAT ART ADVENT SUNDAY!

These are some photos of my dining nook in the kitchen of the cozy cottage. We are all decorated for Weihnachten in traditional red & green. On the center of the table is our Advents Kranz with its four candles for each Sunday before Christmas. Mommy brought this bowl over from Germany. It can be filled with water to keep the pine fresh and in it's center there is a depression to fill with ornaments or candy or even fruit as you might wish. Tonight we light the first candle and give thanks for our many Blessings...and they abound new each day.
If you bigafy the photos, you can see some of the things mommy loves to have around her. She calls them her collections, the Lapdaddy just shakes his head and I just shake fuzz all over them:) The shadow boxes on the wall hold her Wedgwood thimbles...the painted tray on the left makes a ledge for her beloved Hunkydory doll house tins. More on those later because you will love them! There are some needlepoint's and Hummel figurines and plates. Can you tell the chandelier has tea cups for lights? Lapdaddy designed that for her. It is going to be something when I give a Tea Party next week to try and serve my tea to you in those!!!! But we are cats and can climb up anything! So keep the early afternoon of December 5th free for a party over here, it is a surprise for mommy, so SHHHHHHH.....(Oh and we are on Pacific time)

TECHNOPEACH Warhol style

Queen Snickers did an Andy Warhol style make over of one of my photos. I think it turned out super duper cool! Thank you so much. I have always liked some of his works. He struggled hard as so many artists do to reach out to the world. I think he is the King of Pop Art! Andy also liked cats...how cool is that!
I used the different filters on my new flashy box to do my version above, I think I need some more color.

Oh Miss Peach, my mom is so enjoying all your latest posts and how interesting that you have the beautiful new pale mint color on your template.

We put a Christmas tree on the banners of topcatrules and on Pyewacket's Party.

We will show all of your website to Gran when she comes on the plane in 19 days. Gran is 84. She came to stay on the day I arrived and she hasn't seen me since then. I am ten months old today!

With love from your photo composition pupils, Pyewacket and her mom, Leslie.

P.S. We forgot to say, our Gran has some Hummel figures and you know the litle white shadow box you have up on the wall shaped like a house? My mom has one like it with her Wade figurines in it. :)

Good Morning Sunshine!!
I do hope you had fun at Marilyn's last night!!!You were so beautiful in that dress!!!!!!!!!!! I has such sweet dreams about you.
Now I see you are getting ready for Christmas! Your dining nook looks so cozy and filled with lovely treasures.
Mom likes your Hunkydory Tin houses. Her Mom used to have tiny houses with sparkly foofs that were about the same size.
This time of year is so nice because we bring out our treasures and everyone is happy and the world is beautiful with all the lights and decorations.
I have Dec 5 in my datebook!! I look forward to it SO much!

oh, Mom is curious. Did your Mom do the needlework on the fine treasures? She thinks they are beautiful.

good morning, my peachy sister!

your post for today is so beautiful! it's fun to see all of your treasures, and to see your cottage decorated in red and green.

your mommy has a real treasure in your lapdaddy who could design such a unique chandelier! wow!

december 5 is in our calendar. did you know that that is the day before st. nicholas day?

lucy, unfortunately, has not begun to act like a lady in the slightest. she plays thundering herd by herself, chews on almost anything (we think she's still teething), and is only barely coming to understand the pleasure of bed-time snuggles when it's cold. sigh.

finally, your photo montages are great! you look beautiful in such vivid colors!

we love you!

Wow. Your home is so pretty, and nicely decorated. If mom did that here, I would have it a wreck in about ten minutes. I love to jump up on tables and stuff and chew on things.

I have the True Love For Romance Road Trip Badge. You can either take it from the blog or email me at roxythedevildod AT gmail DOT com.

What a lovely cottage and so beautifully decorated. Jan sighed and a tear dripped momentarily. Then she shook her head, looked at us, and mumbled something like, "I guess you guys are worth it."

Wonder what she meant? You think it could be because she's not as neat a staff as yours is, Miss Peach?

We try our best to help her, even though it's not our job. We swat things down to decorate the floor. We rearrange her files for her. We .... Well, we work! But even with our help, we don't think she could EVER decorate to your standards.

Now we sigh. It would be so nice to have such lovely things to bat onto the floor and play with. But we love Jan, so we're content.

Sorry we haven't been around as much as we would like. We have been so busy with our raffle and also working on the second episode of CCSI.

Thank you so much for your wonderful donation to the raffle. We had such a great turn out and the best part was that EVERYONE who made a donation went home with a prize! We couldn't have done it without the help of friends like you.

Momo the cat won your beautiful prize. We have her address and would like to send it on to you. Could you drop us an email at catnapsinitaly@yahoo.com? Thanks.

Sending you big hugs all the way from not-so-warm Italy.
Kisses,
Your farm boys
ps. We LOVE the way your home looks for the holidays! We are going to have to get our humans to make our home look pretty too!
