Today I want to introduce you to Frau Melanie and Frau Jemima. They are very old, older than any one of us kitties, and come from Heidelberg Germany. They are a Victorian Art Doll called a Topsey~Turvey Doll. Not Siameezer twins hee hee!
Frau Melanie is wearing a traditional Bavarian dress with an apron called a DIRNDL. Frau Jemima is ready for the frying pan wearing her Lanz of Salzburg eyelet night dress.
Mommy fell in love with this dolly! When she found her, she saw that the dress Frau Melanie was wearing was made of the same fabric that the curtains in her cottage were at the time!
Hope everykitty has a wonderful Sunday!

Adorable! I like to see the cat art here!
These two kitties are adorable. What a fun dolly.
We hope you have a happy day
How sweet! Cat art rocks!
That's very interesting. I've never seen anything like that before. I'm not surprised your Mommy had to have it.
Oh, my sweet sister, I just love your Cat Art Sundays. I look so forward to them! And what beautiful kitty dollies. They are so delicate and beautiful and genteel -- just like you, my lovely sister!
Wow that you are sleeping on a shelf above the cold box! Don't tumble off that shelf too much, sweetheart -- I don't want you to hurt yourself!
I hope you are feeling well today -- as always, you are in my thoughts and in my heart.
Purrs and snuggles and love from your adoring sister,
Marilyn.
Interesting cat art. My mum says she used to have a Cinderella doll that was topsy-turvey like that - ragged Cinders one end, ball gown Cinders the other end.
My mum also sends thanks for your sympathy after her Very Bad Day.
they are pretty dollies! hope you had a wonderful Saunday my litle Peachie - my mum was out ALL day, how selfish is that? xxx

They are lovely kitty dollies, Miss Peach! Thanks for sharing them with us. And, we're happy you had a sweet visit with your gentleman caller yesterday.

That is a beautiful kitty doll! :) My mom still hasn't bought herself a Dirndl. She definitely needs to before leaving Munich, though!
