MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

A FRAGRANT GARDEN SOIREE

Mickey my handsome gentleman caller from a far away land

The marigold corsage he brought for my wrist

My cheeks glisten like this begonia bloom when I see him

My heart is at ease when I am in his company

"Nature 27, Autumn " by Emily Dickinson

The morns are meeker than they were,

The nuts are getting brown;

The berry's cheek is plumper,

The rose is out of town.

The maple wears a gayer scarf,

The field a scarlet gown.

Lest I should be old-fashioned,

I'll put a trinket on.
(See the trinkets I put on in the post below:)

My heart was so full of happy moments today. A gentleman mancat came from a far away land to stroll the Autumn garden with me. "Before the last blooms fade away" this is what he said when he asked to come. His gift to me was purrrfeect. A selection of blooms from his garden. How could he know these were my favorites from moments past? They made me remember days warm with people I loved so much in a far away land...

We had an unforgetable day in each others company, I sent him home with a bouquet of brilliant maple leaves to honor his country....thank you Mickey

Dear Miss Peach,
You certainly are a "Fashionable Frootbat"! That's quite a portrait!
I enjoyed reading about Mickey's visit.
Can you tell me about Cole's recent visit? He had a wonderful birthday, didn't he?
Love--Mickey

My darling sister Peachy, I just love the Emily Dickinson poem -- she is my very favorite poet! And my heart is singing for you and Mickey. What a delight! And my first guess was wrong, but my second guess was right -- *giggle*, I made a little mini-poem, didn't I?

I am so happy for you, my precious sister!

I wonder what your Mommy is up to? Is she wanting to move you off the cold box -- could she be moving your frying pan? Please keep me updated, sweetheart!

Purrs and snuggles and much love from your adoring sister,

Marilyn.

It sounds like you had a lovely time with Mickey. He is a great kitty!

Momma left the frying pan out, thinking maybe we'd like to hang out in it. But we didn't. hee hee
She thinks she's going to try out her grandma's cornbread recipe to break it in. :)
