ATC above was made by my terrier loving friend Lorian. Her ATC gave me a perfect doggie on wheels too:))
My pal JACKSON went to a magical place called RYE HARBOUR in East Essex. Wandering into the countryside, he came across birds and rabbits and a plant called Hemlock:( DANGER JXN!)
On one of his excursions he visited the nearby town of Rye, which is very pretty with its cobbled streets, a medieval church and Tudor and Georgian houses.
Some history was mixed into the outing with views of an ancient tower that defended against a possible invasion during the Napoleonic Wars.
WOW wish I could have come along!
Well, I promised JACKSON a story so here goes:
Once upon a time, when my mommy was a little girl, she lived with her Oma & Opa in Germany. There were always lots of kitties scampering about the place, but she really wanted a little doggie:) A wire hair Fox Terrier!!! One day she asked Opa to please bring one home when he went off to work. He drove a streetcar. Someone with such an important job could do anything in a little girls eyes. He didn't say yes...but not no either.
That evening she waited expectantly for the sound of his motorcycle signaling his return.
As he walked by outside the kitchen window, she could see that he was carrying something tucked close under his arm:)
He came inside and placed a beautiful Fox Terrier on the dining room table! He was purrrrfect in every way. Bright eyes, perfectly color patched and such a nice red collar that matched the red wheels he stood on. I picked him up, squeezed his sides and he barked!! I never even noticed he wasn't real...just a toy on wheels.
Albert Einstein once said, "Imagination is everything".
MY HERO granted my wish and my life was perfect. Now I have my sweet pal JACKSON...a pip of a pup. Now my pal and I are going to live happily ever after.
Thats JXN's buddy HAMILTON above. He has three more on wheels! My fluffhead looked just like him:)
Wonder where JXN will go next? Toodle Pip till then.....I just love my NOMSS pal!!

*giggle*, I am happy that you and Jackson are becoming such good friends! Interspecies friendships are so rewarding. We kitties and doggies can learn so much from each other!
And please give precious Cole humongous, ginormous kittyhugs and kitty kisses from me! The message he left on my blog was so very sweet -- it brought oh-so-happy tears to my eyes. He is just the sweetest little boy ever, and tell him that I love him very much, too!
Happy, happy purrs and snuggles to you, darling sister, and to sweetie Cole!
Hey Miss Peach, what a lovely story! J1 dreamed of having a Wire Fox Terrier as a child too but she had to wait until she was grown up before her wish came true. Her first WFT was called Watson and he was a rescue dog like me.
I'll let you into a secret. J1 belonged to cats a long time ago. She lived with a ginger tom called Morrissey and later a black cat called Orson. They were rescued too. Then she switched sides and became a dog person!
Thank you for the story. You're a great pal! J X
That's a very sweet story, Miss Peach. :)
You have a great NOMSS friend. We think it is really neat that his name is the same as your last name. He is very cute and makes mom say "Awwww".
Lucy has tagged you for a middle name meme. Visit our bloggie for details!
These are great stories. we especially like yours, about the little girl living with the Oma and Opa in Deutschland.
The Opa was a great guy and he really loved that little girl a lot.
We think that is one of the greatest pleasures of childhood and hopefully it does not ever end!
Happy Day to you and your cutie brother Henry
Miss Peach, that was a great story!
Jackson is a nice dog. And look at him in his little car! What a cutie.
