MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

A WEEKEND OF MYSTERY!!!

Let me introduce you all to Miss EMMA!
She was inside of this box and just popped right out!

Don't you think we look a lot alike!!?
Sometimes a friend will do something so nice for you that you almost can not believe it! A mysterious package arrived on my doorstep when we got back from Portland. I had not ordered anything from Tennessee like the cancellation postmark said. The confuse things even more, the return address was from Merrylund!! The mystery deepens. I opened the box and look what popped out at me!!! The beautiful golden baby squillion I was trying to bid on in Beau's auction for Lilly Lu! After I got outbid I stopped bidding...but someone was watching my move and decided they would surprise me with their incredible kindness. My friends won the auction for me and now I have EMMA to add to my beloved squillion collection of ALICE and HAZEL. My mysterious benefactors are The Taylor CatSSSS and Auntie Deb!!! You see Sam below with a squillion just like the one they sent to me. His baby squillion in named Peachy in my honor! Click here to see how see was introducded into their household. Look at the beautiful floof!! I just hope I can keep Emma warm enough in the winter. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Lapdaddy can not believe it! Mommy is stunned over it! I am teaching Miss Emma the ins and outs of the IN BOX at the moment. She is a fast learner...

This weekend is indeed full of mystery as the CCSI episode III is on the air at Sassy's blog May 10th & 11th! Believe me when I tell you that you do not want to miss this production! I will make my debue as Peachy Pitt in this show. My beloved Mickey will be a co~star and plays Detective Harry Moe. I am over the top excited that I can be a part of this and want to thank the director and producers for taking a chance on me...

THANKFUL THURSDAY

Shades of HAWAII...in water and fur...
Kitties in the feral cat colony...
They are so pretty and friendly...
I think they liked me...specially this stunning tabby...

Today I spent a little time reflecting in a tiny box...not the IN BOX, although I was there too. This box came from Tennessee but was sent by wonderful friends who live in Meerylund just for me. Please come back tomorrow and the mystery will be unveiled. Mommy has been very busy today getting the auction items all packaged up and ready for Lapdaddy to take them to the post office. She also has 7 of her Sketchbook Club packages to mail too, that means 21 books moved across her workbench in which she did 21 pages of assigned artwork! She keeps calling herself a starving artist:) With postal rates going up, we may not eat much this month...how does mac & cheese sound Cole? Good you say? Thats my boy!

SUPER STAR TUESDAY WITH MY PAW PRINTS IMORTALIZED!!

(Hawaiiana will return tomorrow)

These first three photos of fragrant blooms are for my dear friend Lorianna because today is her BIRTHDAY! Please drop by and wish her a happy day!
Mommy picked the Lily of the Valley and the French lilacs yesterday. The white Dogwood blooms remind her of beautiful butterflies.
While I was in Hawaii, I got word that I have been cast in the newest CCSI movie script. Immediately I was asked to immortalize my paws prints at Purrrrmans Chinese Theatre...

The pawpurrrratzie were out in full force at the news of my impending stardom!
A Purrrrfect fit!

If I were a purrrrson, then this is the one I would chose. Mommy thinks I made a good choice...what do you think about my celebrity choice? Take the quiz...it was fun!

Wow, your cat is Angelina Jolie!
Traditional Beauty
Just like with Hollywood superhero Angelina Jolie, they broke the mold after they created Miss Peach!
Defying the conventional meaning of the word pawpular, Miss Peach can't scratch behind an ear without it being reported and talked about. Miss Peach leaves pets of the opposite sex blubbering and babbling nonsensically after each encounter, their cuteness and charm receptors bubbling over with excitement. Always one to entice a broad audience, Miss Peach not only loves to strut her stuff on the catwalk, but digs every chance she gets to make a difference, adopt a pet in need or dish out for her favorite charity.

MONDAY MOMENTS AT THE COTTAGE

I spent the day in the IN BOX still napping away my jet lag. Mommy loves her vintage car...
I took this photo today for my sweet friend Lorianna. The colors in the garden are so pretty right now...
Hawaii has many kitties. This is a feral colony that lives at Io Valley State Park. Mommy first met them four years ago and they are still here!
They are beautiful and very friendly. I will show you more of them later. These two calico ladies were part of the welcoming committee. They said for me to tell you all, "MAHALO"!
This is a Tahitian wedding dance that was incredibly beautiful.

In this segment below you can almost feel the touching call of romance...

TROPICAL CAT ART SUNDAY

Mickey and I on the white sand beach by our resort.

At the San Francisco airport I saw these vintage posters of CATalina Island.
Very colorful and artistically pleasing to my eyes.
These tropical friends I met are butterfly Koi and are over 2 feet long! I have never seen such beautiful fish! Lapdaddy has a pond with Shubunkin in them but they are not this big. Fish are friends:)
Here are some more native dancers for your enjoyment. Join me all this week for more dancing and lots of sightseeing. I had the vacation of a lifetime and love to share the beauty of this island with you...

LAVA LAVA LOMI LOMI LUAU

The beautiful island dancer thought I was over the top cute!

Mommy thought the handsome island dancer was over the top cute:)

This is me on the lava fields in south Maui that date back to the last flow of Haleakala in 1790. You can see the dormant volcano in the back at over 10,000 feet. It is reported that it might become active again at any time!! YIKES!
At the Luau I enjoyed a Mai Tai Nipteenie and another tropical blossom in my fur.
After the emu was opened and the roasted pig removed, it was time to eat! My favorite was the pulled pork and Lomi Lomi Salmon. Chicken, steak, mahi mahi and Hawaiian macaroni~potato salad and rice rounded out the menu. Everything tasted delicious!
Soon the show began and I had a purrrfect front row seat!
I made a lot of cool new friends that night.
Here I am making sure mini me is doing a good job...
This is the best luau I have ever been to. I can highly recommend the Maui Sunset Luau at the Maui Prince Resort!

TROPICAL TRAVEL JOURNAL

I have a bit of jet lag still and keep falling asleep. As you can see below I had jet lag when I arrived in Maui too! I was welcomed to the isle with a fragrant plumeria blossom that I tucked behind my ear.
I have never smelled a bloom so sweet...don't you love it's tender colors!
My first adventure was at Hilo Hatties! I opened up this oyster and look what treasures it held inside! Two beautiful pearly white pearls...they also gave me this shell necklace called a lei.
The next day I went to the lava fields and to a Luau...please come back and see what fun I had with the beautiful Hawaiian dancers.

SO GOOD TO BE HOME ON MAY DAY!!

Hello everybody! I am home again safe and sound with my beans! Thank you for all of your purrrayers and visits...they have worked their magic because I ate my food and was very happy at the kitty resort. I did only have one thing on my mind as you can see from the photo mommy took of me below:)
I had a great holiday with lots of good luck from this kitty I met at the helicopter place.
Maui is a tropical paradise and I will enjoy showing this Valley Isle to you over the next few weeks. Right now I need to catch up on all of the news in the Cat Blogosphere and visit the kitties who are sick...and I have to catch up on my sleep of course! A very wise girl from Kansas once said, "There is no place like home!"

I am overjoyed to be back with all of you again...my family!
