This is me on the lava fields in south Maui that date back to the last flow of Haleakala in 1790. You can see the dormant volcano in the back at over 10,000 feet. It is reported that it might become active again at any time!! YIKES!
At the Luau I enjoyed a Mai Tai Nipteenie and another tropical blossom in my fur.
After the emu was opened and the roasted pig removed, it was time to eat! My favorite was the pulled pork and Lomi Lomi Salmon. Chicken, steak, mahi mahi and Hawaiian macaroni~potato salad and rice rounded out the menu. Everything tasted delicious!Soon the show began and I had a purrrfect front row seat!
I made a lot of cool new friends that night.
Here I am making sure mini me is doing a good job...
This is the best luau I have ever been to. I can highly recommend the Maui Sunset Luau at the Maui Prince Resort!

pki wahine, mommie went to a laua too last year when she went to ha-why-ee, it was at the marriot on the big island in waikaloa. pulled pork is yummy!
Ooh nummy, nummy pulled pork, salmon and yet more chicken!!!! Oh what a great day this is for me and my tummy! ;) I'm not sure I've ever been this full of chicken before and I think I like it! :)

You look verra beautiful with that pink plumeria in your hair! My mom spent many an hour making lei's from the plumeria tree in her front yard when she lived in Pearl City..on the island of Oahu.

Stimmt es, dass die "Uhren anders gehen" auf Hawaii? Miss Peach wird sich sicher freuen, dass Frauchen nun wieder zu Hause ist.

The food looks amazing and the evening of entertainment; so exciting to see something of Hawaii culture.
Miss Peach in the bag is so dear. Kitties know when some thing's up.
Cody's eyes are looking better and so far we are getting his ointment in them. He pouts afterwards, but then he gets stinky goodness and forgives.
I hope you are having a restful weekend at the cozy cottage. Travel is fun, but Home is where the heart is.
