At the cozy cottage we believe in being cozy inside the house and outside too!
While I was warm and toasty in the new Christmas blanket.....we had company on the back door step! This BIG kitty boy is Lion, one of the feral family we have been hosting in the cozy cottage garden since 2010 or so. He has been trusting mommy more and more...and having a nice warm meal. We hope to get him to trust us all completely...it has been a long long wait. Mommy wants to brush him and get him to sleep on a heated pad...maybe soon?
In this picture you can see that he is ear tipped on his left era....this means that he is neutered in a TNR (trap, neuter, release) program.
HOPE you all stay warm and happy...our Christmas tree is still up...we enjoy extending the season in these dark weeks of winter...

Happy Sunday to all at the Cozy Cottage. And a happy, healthy new year to you as well. How wonderful that Lion is trusting people more. I bet he will sleep on the heated pad some very cold night. Thank-you for helping him weather the weather.
Oh, we can't wait for the day when Lion is ready to completely trust you. We're sure he will love the brushies and heated pad. Thank you for taking such good care of him.
