MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

COTTAGE SCENES TO BEGIN THE WEEK...

Looking up at the glorious sunset...it has to be a wonderful week!
The roses and hostas are looking majestic...
Here are our loyal ferals Lion and Scrappy Cat...they come each day for a nice nappy on the deck
Their food is in the protected cubby and they have a nice water dish that we fill with freshness all the time...in the winter, it is heated so it does not freeze.  Lion is so sweet natured....I yearn to hold him and brush his fur.  He does not run from me but I can not get too close to him...will I ever...I wish for that...to cup his face and look into his eyes.  He knows he is safe in our yard and comes when I call his name.  He gets some special Rachel Ray dry food that he loves!  I think he is special!
Wishing you all a wonderful beginning of June...I know ours is going to be special because Cole will be coming for the summer on Tuesday!

Oh we are a tiny bit jealous of your summer beginning. Here winter will start this week, but we just get chilly, wind and rain, no snow.

We hope Cole has a lovely visit. Kind of him to come and stay - we know what teenagers are like.

Happy Sunday!! I know you will have a happy Tuesday, too, and many happy summer days with Cole. Miss Hope, you look like a statue in that picture, carved from the most beautiful stone. Wishing you a joyous week.

It looks so pretty at the Cozy Cottage. Perhaps Lion will come around some day. I fed a feral named Phantom for years before he would let me see him or pet him (hence the name "Phantom"). Once he came around, he was the sweetest boy and lived outside for about 10 years with a little girl kitteh named Missy.
How wonderful Cole is coming!
All the best,

Dear Miss Hope, your gardens are looking lovely.
We expect your home is all happy about Cole coming :)
That is sure to be a great and happy time.
We like seeing Lion and Scrappy Cat.
They are smart to know which home to choose.
Lion is very good looking too.
We purr he will learn to trust.

Sometimes you have to love feral kitties from a distance - but that does not mean they don't know they are loved and cared for. They do. Paws up for Cole's visit!

Lovely photo of Miss Hope and Lion is truly well named. He looks so docile and I know what you mean about wanting to hold them. I can pet Mama Kitty but won't be picked up. And I can't even get close to Maxi but like you I provide them with heated water bowls and heated pads and houses in winter and of course food always and now shelter from the rain and meds as I can. Beautiful photos of your deck and walk Karla. You live in a little paradise which you and hubby have created for your enjoyment but I think for the cats as much as for you!! I wish all kits had homes like yours.
Hugs
Lorraine
