MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

TRAUMA AND WORRY HERE...

Please pray for my precious Miss Hunny Bunny...she has a painful hind leg and can not put pressure on it. I am afraid she is the victim of Scrappy Cat's hatred. I let her outside last evening and then there was a dreadful rowel and chase in the front garden. I feel so guilty that she is hurting...Dennis has warned me this would happen one day. I feel we have some very painful decisions to make regarding Scrappy cat...please keep our hearts in your prayers.

We have just returned from leaving Hunny Bunny at the Vet...they will work her in sometime today and see what is wrong with her leg. I am just so thankful for all of your prayers and kind thoughts for my special girl...this is so stressful for me that I am in constant tears. I will have some coffee now and pray. I will let you know as soon as I hear from the Vet.  U ALL

Got a call from the vet...Bunny does NOT have a broken leg but a bite to her hind leg caused an abscess which they will clean and dress. She is on fluids and will get an antibiotic injection good for 2 weeks...I will call them in the morning to see how she is. It will be a sleepless night here at the cozy cottage without my pretty Bunny.

I am so glad you took Hunny Bunny to the vet and they are taking care of that abscess - I had the feeling that was what was going on. And abscesses always need vet treatment. Poor girl - I am sending lots of purrs for her to heal soon.

I just read about Hunny Bunny on the Cat Blogosphere site and came over to offer my best wishes for her full and permanent recovery. It's astonishing how often a cat-bite on another cat can become infected. Fortunately, Hunny Bunny is in good hands, and will no doubt be back to normal very soon.

Sorry to hear about Hunny Bunny, but at least it's not as serious as you at first thought. Kizzie had a similar thing happen to her last year, and she was better within a day or two and didn't need to see the vet. Hope Hun Bun feels better soon and sending our love and purrs from Kizzie.

Happy to hear the Hunny Bunny is on the mend. Abscess wounds often act like broken limbs. Might want to keep her inside if possible going forward.

Hunny Bunny, we just heard about your bad ouchie. So sorry, and so glad you seem to be on the mend. Sending healing purrrrrrsss and comforting purrrrayers to you all.

PS: Has Scrappy been caught and nootered? Might help if that hasn't been done. About the only other things we can think of is an enclosed catio for Hope & Hunny Bunny, or finding a barn home someplace for Scrappy.
