Pack up the family and head off into the mountains or down to the seashore...for the holiday season.
We will be spending the rest of the summer at home in the cozy cottage with this handsome guy. I sure do like him and he likes me too...he calls me his dinosaur and I call him my silly teenager. We will enjoy our time in the coolness of the front room...it was 113* here today! Hard to sleep at night because we can not open the windows for fresh air or all the coolness will run out...time to go to the mall and window shop!

That grandson of yours is growing up. Can't believe how hot it is in your town - crazy hot. We don't get that warm here thank goodness, as we don't have air conditioning or even own a fan.

Oh me, 113. I just can't take it when it gets into the high 90's and humid here in KY. Growing up in VT spoiled me for the extremely hot weather but I don't miss the extreme cold we had there either!!
