Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.
Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.
We hope that you had a wonderful Christmas surrounded by those you love and the memories of days gone by always alive in your hearts...
our cozy cottage has humble decorations that are very traditional, the tiny tree has electric candles and cardinal's clipped to the branch tips...the pine swag on the mantle is full of poinsettias and snowflakes...
our tiny tree also has beautiful fiber optic lights that give it a magical cotton candy look in the dark.
we have fresh mistletoe from an Oregon farm...just in case someone stops under it for a kiss....(yes we are VERY careful to keep it out of reach because the white berries are poison!)
the best part of any of my days is spent in my window next to my little candle...taking a nap and dreaming of what might come with the next year....mommy gave me another one of Miss Peach's blankets...I ickied up on the mohair one and it went into the wash...thank you mommy for loving me so much!
“A black night seems to make the moon brighter. Purple irises brighten yellow daffodils. And a dark gray Kansas sky makes the wheat look truly golden. So it is with us. It seems that God best displays the brilliance of His grace against the backdrop of our darkest and even blackest moments.” —Joni Eareckson Tada
When I was nine years old, my people didn't want me anymore because I was ecentric. A nice lady who does breed rescue put my picture on the web and my now mommy saw it one day and fell in love with me. I have the same color hair as my mommy does...red! She really needed me to do a special job,so I came to live with her. You see her Mommy was very very sick and used up all of her nine lives. My job was to keep her company until she went to her rainbow bridge. At first she didn't want me because she didn't like cats at all, so I hid under the couch. Then when she wasn't looking,I came out and gave her a big head butt and a sandpaper kiss>(^,^)< Soon my now mommy heard her mommy talk baby talk to me over the baby moniter she had in her room. My title was being a 'CATpanion' to her mommy during her last days. I did my job very well and now I live with my forever mommy and daddy...and drive them crazy!
