MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

OH NO NOT AGAIN!

Another four years of misery for our country...no COLA increases to help us keep up with the ever increasing expenses of staying alive and keeping our heads above water.
No abiding by the Constitution or having a balanced budget...
No end to unemployment and high gas prices as our jobs go overseas...
no end to senseless wars that kill our young braves...while our children go hungry to school where they can not say the Pledge of Allegiance.  Until we once again become One Nation Under God...we are doomed to repeat history.
Please tune in tomorrow when we resume our regularly scheduled cozy cottage catitude...today was mommies day to rant

My sentiments exactly. Dreadful news, when we had such hopes of relief. Thank God for the comfort of our kitties, and bracing cups of tea!

Well I just had to vote for Gary Johnson, the Libertarian presidential candidate because I just couldn't see that Romney would be any better.

One bright light is that we sent a wonderful man to Congress from KY. Thomas Massie is someone I refer to as Rand Paul 2.0 -- the new, improved version. He is brilliant, young, energetic and is a "get it done person." As Judge Magistrate in his district, he ferreted out all the useless taxes and other costs and did a lot of manual labor himself to save the county money. He ran for that office on a pledge to save the county enough money to do away with his own job. And he did indeed save more than that much. He found phone lines being paid for that went nowhere for example -- they just never had been questiond. If every county in this country did a thorough search of just those things, we'd be well on our way to saving this country financially.

So take heart dear friend Karla. Perhaps the Congress can do what needs to be done to reverse the trends of more wars and more useless spending.

We personally have been hit very hard by enormous health insurance increases for next year so will have to batten down the hatches and do the best we can.

Off to feed the ferals who might just have to live on dry food this winter but for now, we continue their canned "treat."

Stay strong, Keep Calm and Pet the Cats!

Yep, I am with you Miss Karla. I guess we'll have to get good and miserable before changes get made.

WE are with you. We are so sad that we have a president that can not salute out Flag, or acknowledge out unknown soldiers, along with all his other short falls!

I totally agree with you. You expressed your thoughts so eloquently. May God help us all.

Yes, a President should have respect for his country!
