Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two?
Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.
You all know what the gardens of the cozy cottage look like...so we thought you might like a peek inside all the rooms. This is the front parlor as you have seen it before...all dressed for BOO night.
Here is the dining area and kitchen. That little cabinet is my Oma's wedding gift she got when she married in 1920 something, that I brought from Germany when we moved here many years ago.
The kitty feeding station and the door to the auntie room...and the kitchen.
Lapdaddy's office and mommy's desk with her sewing machine...
Our only litter box room...this is a very tiny house.
into the bedroom were we all sleep on the new jell foam mattress!
these doors hide the washer/dryer area...Lapdaddy made the tea cup chandy. The decorations on the door are something mommy made with the kidbeans school class (she taught art) in Germany in 1982...we keep our stuff a long time!
I hope you enjoyed your peek inside tour of the cozy cottage...I love digging my claws into mommies new carpet...it drives her nuts when I use it for a launching pad to hightail it out of the room at warp speed!
“A black night seems to make the moon brighter. Purple irises brighten yellow daffodils. And a dark gray Kansas sky makes the wheat look truly golden. So it is with us. It seems that God best displays the brilliance of His grace against the backdrop of our darkest and even blackest moments.” —Joni Eareckson Tada
When I was nine years old, my people didn't want me anymore because I was ecentric. A nice lady who does breed rescue put my picture on the web and my now mommy saw it one day and fell in love with me. I have the same color hair as my mommy does...red! She really needed me to do a special job,so I came to live with her. You see her Mommy was very very sick and used up all of her nine lives. My job was to keep her company until she went to her rainbow bridge. At first she didn't want me because she didn't like cats at all, so I hid under the couch. Then when she wasn't looking,I came out and gave her a big head butt and a sandpaper kiss>(^,^)< Soon my now mommy heard her mommy talk baby talk to me over the baby moniter she had in her room. My title was being a 'CATpanion' to her mommy during her last days. I did my job very well and now I live with my forever mommy and daddy...and drive them crazy!
