Dear friends....I have been having some sad days...next month will be the first anniversary of my beloved Miss Peach leaving us for the rainbow bridge. My arms ache to hold her...Lapdaddy aches to have her on his lap. We have HOPE that one day we will be together again...until then...we remember how it was...warm and sweet. I know you understand how we feel...you are our beloved friends who carry us along on these days...thank you for your treasured friendships and visits...

Yes I certainly understand how you and Lapdaddy feel Karla. It is a visceral feeling -- needing and wanting to feel Ms. Peach. I was that way for a long long time after I lost Topaz and then Tucker Boone. I can remember exactly how their fur felt -- very different from each other -- but the feeling of their fur under my hand has never gone away.
Sending you both loving hugs and purrs as this anniversary approaches and for all the days ahead until you are all reunited again.
For now just love Hunny a little extra and hug each other.

Dear Karla and Lapdaddy, we do indeed understand how you feel. We miss seeing the delightful Miss Peach too.
With her passing and our Mickey's passing, it feels like an era has passed.
The hurt will become less sharp, but will always be there.Knowing we will see our loved ones again makes the day to day life here bearable.
We must count our blessings and the ones yet to come.

I do know how you feel. It does get easier. Wizard has been gone nearly 4 years! And I still feel him jump up on the bed at night!
