It has been such a quiet week...we spend a lot of time thinking about our friends who are having much sadness in their lives right now. Zippy, Sadie and Speedy's daddy went to the bridge...then Shaggy and Scout lost their beloved Scooby. Our hearts long to comfort them at this sad time....
I have been counting my many blessings...in this picture you can see my two tone colored eyes real well. They are topaz on the top and sapphire on the bottom.
The sun feels so good on my furs...I think I will spend the day in my front window watching for the Easter bunny to come early...

Have a happy Easter at the cosy cottage. It has been a sad week for many families in the blogosphere, which is a reminder to enjoy the time with our own friends and family.

It has been a sad time, and it's sometimes hard not to let that sadness weigh us down and rob us of the small daily joys in our own lives.
So we wish you a joy-full and wonder-full Easter weekend, and hope the Easter Bunny finds your cottage!
It has been--but it looks so peaceful there at the cottage. I am certain that we all can use such a peaceful retreat. Can I come by?
It does seem like this week is a time to stop and reflect, doesn't it?
The sadness and loss does remind us to be joyful for what we have. Though we know that those with recent losses won't feel that way. We remember how we felt when we lost both our dear fur babies in 2010.
Hunny you make a very pretty Easter bunny! Now where are those eggs?
It was a very sad weekend. We hope you see the bunny!
Hello dear Hunny Bunny( with the lovely eyes). It has been a sad week and we are purring lots for all of our friends. We wish them peace and comfort.

Ah lovely photos from the cottage. Although the weather here has turned back to spring from summer, my kits are getting plenty of sun out on the deck and come in with their fur hot as fire!
We too have been experiencing some sad times, losing dear Liberty friends, way too young. Another died in his sleep last night -- a special friend -- in his 50's. It's been like this for over a year now -- we've lost 6 dear friends -- all too young -- and it grieves us to know that we'll never hear their laughter, their wit, and their comments/ beliefs about personal liberty and the rights granted to us by the Constitution. They taught us much and we will miss them terribly as friends and as true patriots.
Hugs to all at the cottage.

Sadness and losses...but I am certain we will see our beloved friends in heaven.
I miss Scooby so very deeply. I keep expecting him to be in his favorite places and feel stabbed in the heart when I see those places empty.
Liebe Karla,
Birgit
