MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!!

Wake up you little sleepy heads!!!  It is time to go above and usher in the season of renewal...
Last night I spend hours looking at my old blog posts...I was missing my little red girl so much that my arms ached and my heart nearly burst with each picture of her I saw...I chose this one to share with you because it is one of Lapdaddy's favorites.  ML and Auntie Deb sent this little jewelry pouch and Peach wanted to play dress up with it...I think she looks a bit Jane Austin and I know Daisy would approve of the style...
Happy Spring to all from the melancholy cozy cottage...

Lots of purrs and hugs from us and the human. It's hard...There are still lots of photos of Annie that the mom can't look at, the later ones and the last ones.

Healing, such as it is, seems to take a very long time indeed, though it does happen.

Happy Spring.

Happy Spring to all of you at the Cozy Cottage and Garden. My eyes get leaky whenever I see photos of Miss Peach. I loved that pretty photo of her and the pouch made such a fetching hat which matched her purrfectly.

Happy Spring ...die zweite...Blogger won´t let me comment this morning.

Here we don´t have springy weater. Hope it will come until I cleaned my windows in the living room.
The photo of Mrs Peach remind me on the cat of B. Potter.
Forgot the name. The ducks name is Jemima Puddleduck and the cats name was Mrs. Moppet or what.

Love the painted children books of Beatrix Potter so much.

big hugs to the cozy cottage from far Germany

Oh my friend, I know the achey arm feeling so well.

I have kept Fluffy's pic on my profile photo because I fear that if I put all her pictures away it will be even more painful when I then come across them by accident.

I sometimes hold her tiny box of ashes in my arms and just weep.

Yesterday, the first day of spring, I noticed flowers popping up all round Figs' grave. I had totally forgotten that I had planted bulbs around her in the autumn. It was so nice to see.

She was a beautiful and elegant lady cat.

Ah how adorable. I know exactly what you mean Karla. I miss my fur babies so much, even when I'm cleaning up cat messes from the current crew LOL.

If they were children I guess they'd end up having to see psychiatrists in later years because I pined for my favorites too much!

But my current crew get lots of love and attention and never know my thoughts (I think -- one never knows what's going on in those sweet little brains as they give me an unnerving stare!!)
Hugs, pets and purrs,
Lorraine

Oh we understand so well. We have devon rexes and lost our little Lewis ...it will be a year ago on April 16th of this year.We still find it difficult to look at pictures of him.We adopted two more devon rex kitten babies recently and they have helped heal our hearts but we still miss our BooBoo Lewis so much.
