MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELL....

I wanted to see the beautiful Christmas cards that many of you so thoughtfully sent to us.  So I put them under the plastic tablecloth...why didn't I think of that before!?  See the beautiful Bavarian tea cup...that was a gift from Auntie Deb...oh and the most delicious Christmas Stollen was baked for mommy by the amazing sweet Church lady.  It is to die for delish and very authentic in it's German taste.  We are so lucky to be so loved...
Here is Lena sleeping the evening away...close to Lapdaddy but still not in his lap...baby paw steps at a time.  She is so soft and pretty...
Here is our brilliant Cole!  He is sewing up a rip in the seam of Lapdaddy's neck pillow.
stitches nice and tight and a silver thimble on his finger...
Teach your children well the skills they will need someday...I am sure his wife will think he is awesome when he sews on his own buttons!  We had a fun and quiet New Years Eve...French dip sandwiches and sparkling cider...lights out at 2:00 because I had to be at Church by 8:00....lots of naps in store for today!

Such terrific photos. And yes what a neat idea to put cards under a plastic table cover so you can see them as you eat your delicious goodies and have your morning beverage.

Good for Cole to be learning to sew. My hubby could sew some things by hand and on his grandmother's sewing machine before I took over those tasks.

We had an even quieter new year's eve. I was feeling a bit off so was in bed by 11:30. We had sparking pear juice in the fridge but it shall have to be for another celebration. I must be getting old -- getting LOL???

Hugs, pets, purrs,
Lorraine

Lena has the best spot--some heat and a soft cushion! A needle and thread come in handy...so great Cole can do a minor repair for himself!

It is good to see Lena getting close.

You are so right about teaching the children. Our son took cooking classes and our daughter took shop! Now he does the majority of the cooking for his family and is very good and efficient! He is also helping his wife quilt! Our daughter, who is alone with her two kids, can fix and repair almost any thing that needs doing.

Happy New Year!
Lena is a darling little girl cuddled up close to daddy.
I can sew buttons and seams but my husband does anything that needs the sewing machine.
