MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

TAKE TIME ON MONDAY...

Leisure

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of scars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Beautiful photos of Lena and what a lovely poem -- and so true. Although as I age I do take a bit more time to stop and stare, even though it's because of fatigue instead of choice. But it makes me wonder how much I've missed all these years by being such a busy-holic!!

Hugs, pets, and purrs,
Lorraine

A beautiful poem and you are a charming accessory for that curio cabinet!

Lena, how did you get up on that cabinet? Especially without destroying any of the pretty things inside?

Loved the poem. You are a good climber, Miss Lena. You must be a tree dweller.
