Nom nom nom nom....warm turkey is so yummy on a chilly day. This is Meme who is Scrappy Cats kitten from this spring. She is as big as Scrappy now but thankfully does not have her witchy purrrrsonality. She comes with her tail up when I go outside...
Her daddy Lion is such a fine gentleman...he always waits while she eats first. They have both grown a fine thick fur coat to ward off the chill. We have placed the heated water dish out for them and they have been sleeping in the fine straw of the kitty condo Lapdaddy built for them...they are happy and so are we. Since Lion has been nutered, he is looking quite well and does not have those battle scars all over this head anymore. Scrappy Cat is still witch slapping our sweet Hunny Bunny any chance she gets...I have to watch her so close when I let her in the garden.
I am feeling a bit better and thank you all for your nice wishes...happy third Advent Sunday to all....love form the cozy cottage

They are looking quite beautiful! And we're glad you're felling better!
Happy Sunday to all at the Cozy Cottage. So happy mommy Karla is feeling better. The garden cats look in fine fettle. I'm sure they are glad for the extra warmth of their condo. We were away to NYC for a few days. The city is so beautiful at Christmastime. Happy to be home again at the edge of the world. Peace to all of you.
Isn't it amazing how they thrive after we capture them. The red tabby male I had neutered and a an abscessed tooth removed became a beautiful lion too -- his ruff was incredible. I don't see my ferals much these days but the food disappears and the "doors" to the shelters look disturbed occasionally so hopefully they are seeking shelter and eating well. So far the water bowls are only getting a thin sliver of ice on them but it was supposed to go to 19 last night so I expect I shall have to do something about that soon.
So glad mom is feeling better and hopefully Hunny an avoid those slaps from the garden kitties!
Hugs, pets and purrs to all at the cottage,
Lorraine

Best feel-better purrs to you mommy Hunny! We missed your last post so we hope our belated purrs are still needed.
So good of you to shelter the other kitties, but it's tough not being able to go confidently into your own garden.
Awww....Turkey makes you sleepy, too so they will probably all go have a nap after that nice meal! They do look very shaggy with they warm fur coats, too! The heated waterbowl sounds nice for those frozen days!
How wonderful that they have a warm place to sleep.
Happy Christmas season to everyone and everycat at the Cozy Cottage. XOX T.
My Christmas wish is that all feral kitties got the same kind of care that the ones in your garden are getting.
It is good to know the ear-tipped kitties have a safe, cozy yard in which to spend the Winter :)
Sorry that it means Hunny Bunny needs to be careful.
WE purr you get better quickly as your big trip is coming up soon!!!

We're glad the garden kitties are being cared for so well. They look in good shape for the winter. Too bad about Hunny and Scrappy. We know that some cats (like some people) just never get along.

Good job, Karla!!! We can see that the kitties are feeling good there in the cozy cottages garden.
