MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

A DREAMY SERENADE...

This is how I begin my day at the cozy cottage...with a massage and a serenade.  Today I am a little bit BLUE and DREAMING of lions, tigers, and bears who were deaded before their time had come.  We wish that all wild animals would be left to live in their natural worlds and not brought into mans world to be caged in the torture chambers of private zoos!  May their precious spirits roam free over the grasslands of heaven's jungles...  Jesus said to forgive them for they know not what they do...

Hunny Bunny, I see you love being brushed as much as I do. I too am sad about those poor creatures who should never have been living in captivity, far from their natural habitat. Such a tragedy.

It sure is a terrible waste of life that all those animals removed from their home and forced to live in cages - had to be killed.

I guess it was necessary to protect all the humans - but it still is sad.

It made the mom ill to hear that news, Hunny Bunny. Of course she wasn't there, but she doesn't understand why most of the animals couldn't have been tranquilized instead. Very, very sad--another black mark against Homo Sapiens.

Hi Hunny Bunny, I wish I could snuggle you and sniff your toes :)

I'm afraid I have no mercy in my heart for those who kill innocents, and this must include all and any animal. If someone wants to pray to God for them, like Jesus did, then they are more giving than me.

You are so floffy, Hunny Bunny, and so pampered by Mommy. What a lucky girl you are. Some humans need to be put in cages and not these innocent animals.

We were very sad to hear that news, too!

Oh Hunny, how you love being brushed! Taffy doesn't for some reason, even though I am very gentle. The way those animals were treated makes me very sad. As Fuzzy Tales says, they could have been tranquilized instead. I hear today that Ohio is trying to make it illegal to have animals like that. Where were they before?

Oh what a terrific way to start your day. I wish my kits liked to be brushed. It is such a struggle with all of them. You are so good to be so calm and accepting Hunny!

I too was outraged an saddened at the senseless slaughter of those beautiful animals. I only went to a zoo once and that was it for me. I hated it and although people tell me it's the only way children can see the animals in person, I think that the photography in magazines and on TV and in movies is quite enough for anyone. Yes, we must realize that the man who had them, then set them free was mentally ill. Perhaps this will teach others not to collect wild animals. We can only hope.

Mom Karla sure has the right touch with that brush, and my, are you ever silky & gorgeous today!

Mom was almost physically ill when she was the news about those poor animals. Her stomach clenched and she almost lost it. Tears were shed too.
Private zoos like that should be outlawed.
