MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

THIS FLAG WILL NEVER FLY...NOT EVEN ON THIS FOURTH OF JULY...

GLORY!

But it is alright...take a look!
Between the fields where the flag is planted, there are 9+ miles of flower fields that go all the way to the ocean. The flowers are grown by seed companies. It's a beautiful place, close to Vandenberg AFB. Check out the dimensions of the flag. The Floral Flag is 740 feet long and 390 feet wide and maintains the proper Flag dimensions, as described in Executive Order #10834. This Flag is 6.65 acres and is the first Floral Flag to be planted with 5 pointed Stars, comprised of White Larkspur. Each Star is 24 feet in diameter; each Stripe is 30 feet wide. This Flag is estimated to contain more than 400,000 Larkspur plants, with 4-5 flower stems each, for a total of more than 2 million flowers. Remember this day that freedom is payed for by the crimson flow of those who came before us...those that are on foreign soil now sowing the seeds of freedom that future generations might breathe free....Have a happy and safe FOURTH OF JULY!

Good thing my human never tried something like that - it would have wound up being red, white and brown!

Happy Fourth to you!

Do they still maintain the flag? We saw it in 2002, also. It is beautiful! Happy 4th!

A beautiful tribute to those who fought and died for the freedom so many of us take for granted. May this flag forever grow annually.

Independence Day is the Holiday's name. It comes on the 4th of July. Just to make the definition clear.

Hope everyone had a good holiday and are or soon will be safe back home.

Y'all come see us. We're back on the Blogs. New computer is up and running. We are too.

Later .....
