MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

ROMEOW...ROMEOW, WHERE ART THOU ROMEOW?

JUNE IS ADOPT A CAT MONTH!

ROMEOW...

Hello dear friends...please rejoice with mommy and me today. I have a new cousin in Hawaii named Romeow...this letter came to delight our hearts. We just wonder who adopted who here! Bless your hearts!!

Hi Karla,
Just wanted to let you know I have a new kitty. He's an orange tabby I named Romeow and a tripod. He was a rescue with a badly injured leg that was brought to my vet who tried his best to save his leg. When it didn't heal, it had to be amputated. They were looking for a good home for him and told me about him. I was very hesitant about adopting a tripod kitty but I fell in love with him. I brought him home on 5/28 and he finally warmed up to me by Sunday night. He is very affectionate and sweet. For a three-legged kitty, he can sure run like a four-legged one. He loves playing chase. It feels so good to have a kitty in my life again. He filled a hole in my heart but Mr. Whiskers will always be in it. I can hug his ashes and still hold him close to my heart. Romeow is very much like Mr. W in that he doesn't purr and has a soft meow. He even retreats to the same places Mr. W did and he has no problem jumping up on the sink to look out the window. Mr. W loved doing that, too.
Life is good again.
Much love and hugs,
Roberta

Sounds like Mr. Whiskers sent the perfect cat to Roberta!
He may have 3 legs but her certainly doesn't sound disabled. Bless her heart for adopting him!

I'm so glad this human adopted Romeow! I think that so-called "disabled" cats have a lot to teach humanity.

Thank you so much, Karla. Romeow is very honored to be featured on Misses Peach's blog. He definitely is a special needs kitty. He's special and I needed him. He is wearing his Mommy out with his high energy level and making her vacuum and dust more.

What a delightful name! And a beautiful painting. And a heartwarming story. I'm so happy that Roberta and Romeow have found each other. I've seen tripods before, dogs and cats, and they are amazing.

What a great cat art Sunday.
Hugs, pets and purrs,
Lorraine

Well DUH; yesterday I thought it was Sunday all day. Thank heavens it isn't because I'm still trying to get the scrapbook done for my MIL's 80th birthday -- celebrated today -- a day late. And I now must run to the dungeon and make her a card. Whew; Queen of the last minute. And now I'll go look at the
"real" art Sunday!!
Hugs, pets and purrs,
Lorraine
