Thank you dear friends for coming to see the cat art today...I wanted to show you some pictures mommy took but Blogger told us...no can do...we need to buy more storage space. So we will try to get that done this week...As you can tell from our art, our hearts are with Japan. We watched a YouTube video of a lady going back into her destroyed home in search of her beloved kitty she had to leave behind....after much looking a tiny cat face peered around the corner on the steps and meowed the most welcome sound we have ever heard..."I am here mommy, I have been so scarit and lonely in the cold and dark...thank you for coming back to save me." We will do what we can to get that video to post for you this week also (go visit Sparklecat...she has the video on her bloggy! http://www.sparklecat.com/weird-cat-videos/saturday-catinee-japan...)
Though the world is in chaos...we know there is great mercy. I am blessed beyond belief and wish I could share them with all those who need blessings...an old red cat in a cozy cottage

Thank you so much for posting that video Ms. Peach. I had not seen it but have been so sad in my heart and soul for the people of Japan, but dare I say it, so much more so for the helpless kits. What a happy ending to one story. It makes my heart sing on the first day of spring!

Such lovely art today. Purrs Miss Peach.
What an absolutely touching story about that kitty that survived the tsunami. They truly have 9 lives.
Loved your beautiful artwork, too. The Japanese people are in our hearts and prayers.
Oh what memories that video brought back.
Memories of the flood that took my mothers house in North Dakota in 1997. Mud and water to the ceilings of the basement & first floors. Everything tossed all around by the current. Her full sized grand piano was turned upside down, like an elephant on its back. One of her kitties drowned on the lower level of the house and the other went crazy after being alone for nearly 2 weeks in a small attic at the top of the house. He has to go to the Rainbow Bridge. How I wish mother could have been greeted by two furry faces like the cat in the video when she was finally allowed back home to view the damage. Thank you for linking that video.
