I WILL PROTECT YOU ALWAYS...
let tears of joy outshed tears of grief...here at the cozy cottage we can not keep our hearts and minds on much of anything except the pain of loss and sorrow happening in Japan. The worry over loved ones, the suffering in the cold without water and much food...the uncertain future...the failing reactors is something we also worry about living near Hanford...this touches us deeply. We marvel at the bravery of the Japanese people...the lessons we learn from watching them is shaping how we live from this day on...be humble, help others, love those who are near to you and never again grumble about anything!
We continue to mourn...those in our hearts who have left us...my precious husbandcat Mickey, my brother Dragonheart, my sisters Suzanne and Princess...Oscar the Puppy Cat who adopted me when I first joined the Cat Blogosphere in 2007...so you see, I once had a father, sisters and a husband...now I am just a lonely old widow cat who loves you all so much and thanks you for the sweet visits that brighten my old days.

Misses Peach, we're purring for All Beings affected by the terrible disaster in Japan. We can't really even grasp the enormity of it.
Just remember, though, that one more kitty or human who is overwhelmed with grief and sadness isn't in a good position to be of any help....We think the trick is to balance Compassion with peace of mind/acceptance, so we can do what we can (donate, pray, etc.) yet not be so bogged down by negative emotions that we add to the misery of this world with our own negative energy. Does that make sense? Sometimes we have trouble explaining what we mean!
*Kitty kisses* and Light to you all.

Sweet one we all join in the purrs for Japan and find it so distressing that they suffer so much. We will always be here to visit with you and to share in the glad and the sad times.. Hugs GJ xx
We are all very sad. I did not know about Dragonheart as I am not sure I read the news since he stopped blogging. This is quite distressing.
All our love & purrayers are with you flying sweetly on the wind for those in Japan.
((hugs))

We are always here for our friends. We know how easy it is to let the sorrow overwhelm us. We hope you can find a smile today.
So much heartbreak in the world.
We didn't know about Dragonheart either, since he stopped blogging. Do you have further info to share? He was such a beautiful cat!
It is a terrible thing what is and has happened in Japan. We are purring our hearts out.
We missed all our furiends who have crossed the bridge. We really wish we knew what has happened with Dragonheart. We miss him and his brofur so much.
We are sending you tons of purrs and gentle headbutts Misses Peach.
Purrs and headbutts to you, Misses Peach.
If all our purrs and our humans donations can help even a little...that is what gives us comfort in these terrible times. It is hard to feel helpless, but like you said, maybe we can learn from the bravery of the Japanese people, who are helping others when all they have is gone...
Miss Peach
It does seem that the older we become the more we see our furfriends leave us. It is a very unexpected thing we did not foresee when we first began blogging.
We had wondered what happened to Dragonheart as one day he just stopped blogging. We are so sorry to hear this.

Sometimes life is very hard, Miss Peach. And scary. Did something happen to Dragonheart or do you mean that he just stopped blogging and disappeared? We hope he and Merlin are okay.
It is very hard to take in the horrible events that have been happening in Japan and other places these last few months.
You still have me, Miss Peach dear sister~!!!
I am here praying for you everyday as always~!!!!! I am right here~!
Ah such a sweet and poignant post about the situation in Japan as well as our own loved ones. We truly have been shown how to live with disaster when we view or listen to the news stories coming from Japan. We can learn much from their stoic, honest ways. True valor amid stress and loss. And I also think of our own people in New Jersey and all the others in this country who suffered with flooding, tornadoes, and huge snow and ice storms this winter. It is very humbling and I would only hope that I could have one bit of the courage all these people have and have had.
Scrinches to you Ms. Peach and warm hugs to everyone at the cottage.
Lorraine
