So here are some of the Valentine's mommy has been working on....the sun was shining in the window and made the German glass dust sparkle and there is even a rainbow if you look close....she also decorated the mantle with a little bit of romantic Valentine stuff...
Well here I am once again hiding my head in some shame...
Mommy has pinned a waterproof pad under my blanket because I ...well...I don't always wake up in time to make it to the little girls room. Hey I am 18 years old and forget, maybe I need an alarm clock or something!

Mommy will not give me the gifty that came from our ML and Auntie Deb...she said something about how it would not last out the day unless closely supervised with me in her lap...so she hid it from me!!!!!...well phoooooy is all I can say to that!!! Come back Wednesday (I will find it by then!) and I will show you who is boss around the cozy cottage....that box had MY NAME on it!!!!

My Annie has the same problem. She is 19 and I get puppy training pads for her bed. They are not that expensive and if an accident happens you just toss them and put down another. It's much less stressful for all involved.

Princess used to do that too... mom never figured it out really until she found too many occasions of wet blankies. She still feels guilty that a few times Prinnie went back to that same smelly bed.
How humiliating it must have been, and it is for you too I know that.
It is okay Missie Peachpuff. Growing old is not for wimps, that is certain. It takes a certain amount of fortitude to overcome the indignities.
Marian in Houston has a great idea too.
Well, your Valentine decorations are always so lovely, almost as lovely as YOU. and you are loved so very much dear flower, you know that.
bonks and hugs
Ah you look so comfy. Your Mummy is very smart to make sure that you have something absorbent there--and you will have fresh bedding all the time too I bet.
THose are very pretty Valentines! Stay snuggled up, sweetie!
Happy Monday, Peachie. I was so very busy yesterday I hardly had time for my computer. We had more adoptions from the shelter! I think the kitties wanted to be in real homes so they could watch the football game.
Have a wonderful week.
I was thinking that a puppy pad would be a good idea too, Misses Peach. Getting old can sometimes be hard.

Oh what lovely photos Ms. Peach and you are the cutest of all.Although I have to admit that Lapdaddy under his snuugly blanket is pretty cute too! Mom's valentines look gorgeous. You can't say she's lazy any longer!! And we wish you luck finding YOUR giftie. The anticipation should highten your enjoyment of it when you finally find it -- kind of like waiting for Christmas!!
We have lots of kitty accidents here too but we also have some intentional acts of the liquid kind that make me very angry and keep me very busy but what's a cat mom to do.
Hugs, pets and purrs,
Lorraine
Hi Misses Peach! Wow what a pretty valentine that is! We are so sad we have been away from visiting the Cozy Cottage for so long - we missed you! We think you have nothing to hide your head for - we know you are just getting older. We totally understand and know you aren't doing it to be mean or bad. We always think about you and worry a bit when we don't get to visit - but we know you are one tough cookie! We can't wait to see what you got for your pressie - we are positive you will find it!
Your mom always does such a great job with her seasonal decorating!
The wee wee pads will make you more comfortable, we hope. We kitties are such proud creatures it embarrasses us to have accidents like that.
