HAPPY NEW YEAR AND MY NEW BRUSH...

Mommy got me a new brush so I can sharpen my face on it. I LOVE to do that because it feels soooo good. Santa was good to me...yesterday I slept from 2 in the afternoon until 10:30 at night without a single wake up. Mommy kept thumping me with her head to make me move...I wonder why? We were both pretty inactive because mommy's back is all hurty again. She didn't even do anything to it...just while she was brushing her hair...out it went. Well that means no new years eve rumpus for her...just laying around like a cat...hey that's not so bad! Watching Mannheim Steamroller and the ice skaters on DVR for the 10th time!! We wish you a wonderful slide into the new year tonight...Cole will be here with us...that makes us all happy.

SOMETHING FUN?

I thought today might be a good time for some fun...make some collages with the items mommy selected for us to play with. We hope this will work...it is a new feature and we are trying it out. HOLIDAY THIS AND THAT....

Our first day at Depoe Bay began with a rainbow....how cool is that for the middle of winter at the ocean!But then it went down hill for a while because I had to have a bath...we wont tell why...
Had to pout a little bit before I went to sleep...on my heated pad of course...in my velvet sleeping bag...

A stop outside of Portland at the mens favorite foodie place! That is Cole and his daddy Oliver...wow Cajun mashed potatoes and spicy gravy...yummy yummy yummy!!!

Sorry we forgot to post on Monday...we forgot what day it was...geez someone is getting old around here...and it is not me either! Just because I will be 18 years old on January 10, does not mean I am a forgetful cat...

LOVE CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN...JESUS

This is our tiny tree we love so much. We do not give gifts at the cozy cottage to each other. Our gifts go to others... So the tiny tree would not have had these beautiful gifts under it if it had not been for the love of others...My precious husband cat Mickey sent me a package while I was at the ocean with all these tiny treasures wrapped up in pretty papers. Yep...mommy cried. She is a mushy one when it come to getting things from others. Thank you dearst for be our Santa Clause this year...we feel so blessed by all who love us.

Mommy made this set and she won two contests with it...she is proud of it's message! Love came down from heaven...This picture just makes us smile all over! Doggies can be so adorable when they pose so nice for this nativity scene...

ON CHRISTMAS EVE THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME.....

Just a quick post to let you know we are home safe and sound...while we were gone it snowed and snowed and snowed here at the cozy cottage! We had wonderful weather at the seaside and saw amazing sights....we will show them all to you next week. First we have to catch up on some sleep because there was so much laughing going on at the condo, I could not get any rest. I hope you had a good week and I will try to get read up on your adventures after my nappy...

TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS...

My dearest friends...I want to wish all of you a most magical week leading up to that joyous Christmas day when we remember the birth of GRACE without which we are lost.... Mommy has been so busy this past week getting all ready for our holiday at the ocean. We are leaving today and will be back at Christmas...and guess what? COLE is coming with us!!!!! He has never been to the Pacific Ocean before so we hope he will like it. Miss Hunny Bunny will be well and safe here and Buddy and the other outside kitties are well looked after too...oh I am so excited to be able to go on holiday with COLE ...nothing can be better than to get away a little bit and go to a special place like Depoe Bay Oregon. It is the most charming little seaport town we have ever been to. I do not know if we will have internets there so just in case we do, I will try to stay in touch....please keep yourself well and eat some of the nice goodies in the picture...all our love from the cozy cottage until we return we will miss you all so much...I hope you do not forget me...love Miss Peach

I LOVE TO BE SILLY AND PLAYFUL....

I know I will be 18 years old next month....but in my heart I am still a kitten and LOVE to play. Here I am on my favorite spot (at the moment that is, you know how quick I can change my mind) on the back of the sofa where mommy sits. I have a down pillow with a heated pad inside and a nice soft blanky to cover me up with...a nice way to spend a chilly day...

My dear friend Helena lost her beloved Fluffy yesterday. All her adult life Fluffy stayed beside her. A companion faithful and true, Fluffy leaves a hole in her heart that only precious memories can fill.
The rainblow bridge has a new Christmas kitty angel and she is purring in the lap of an Angel. We are so sad but rejoice at the reunion one day...this we believe with all out hearts!

As a little girl in Germany, mommy remembers a scene like this all snug in the featherbed on a cold Christmas eve. Falling asleep with the aroma of Weihnachten in the frosty air...how good to have the memory of winters gone by in the heart when all else has vanished...when all the Oma and Opa days have faded away with time...treasure the moments that are real in your lives today! PLAYTIME AT THE COZY COTTAGE

Mommy thanks you all so much for the nice birthday wishes you dropped off for her. She had many smiles over them. It was a good day that ended with a fun kitty playtime for me. I love to bug mommy and she me..hee hee. Lapdaddy came into the room and I make a bee line right for him...he is fun to play with too! I hope you have someone who tussels playfully with you too...

We wish you a most wonderful Sunday...today is mommies birthday and she is so happy that her back is better and she does not have to eat ouchie go away pills any longer. Bad news is that the is a deadly virus that ate up her computer that she just gotted fixed! Now it is dead for sure. We have to use Lapdaddies little lappie top and it has such tiny keys...but we are grateful we can still blog and keep in touch. There will be no emails answered until we get a new account set up, so if you need to tell us something...PLEASE leave a comment on the blog. I am staying warm and happy on my heated down pillow behind mommies head on the sofa back. I can meow or snore into her ears and whip my tail into her face any time I want too!!!
