MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

SOMETIMES LIFE IS JUST CRAPPY...

Well of all the nerve!!!!
I have my PJ's on and I should be able...
to sleep wherever I want to!!
and not in front of the fireplace like mommy wants!

Here is a letter I wrote to my sister Princess: "I am happy Prinnnnniecurrrrrlypants! But I am crazy...I will not come out of the litter box! Mommy said life is crappy in there but I don't care! I got a bath last night and for a split second mommy thought I would stay in the new bed in front of the fireplace....just long enough until my furs were dry....then....yep, you guessed it ....back to the crapper. Lapdaddy has his own idea on the subject and I am talking about it today...I hope you still love me...your silly sister Peachy (who won't be smelling like one for long)"
It is true....I got a bath...just look at how dirty the water is! I am not amused at all as you can see. Lapdaddy cleaned and changed out the litter in my litter box haven and mommy tried her best to tempt me to stay in the new kitty cube she outfitted with a sweet Pooh Bear blanket that The Sherwood and the Taylor Catss sent me for Easter. Mommy even covered the cube with Miss Peggy's lace confection to make it extra pretty. Well, I stayed long enough for my furs to dry and then...well you know the rest of the story already. Mommy is going to start drinking Egg Nog soon with rum in it....and blame her gray head furs on me! Lapdaddy thinks I am having a problem consumating my marriage to Mickey. He says the bride usually goes into the bathroom to freshen up for the special night. Sometimes a bride gets nervous and begins to cry and will not come out! I have been screaming a lot lately, come to think of it. Oh dear, I am afraid I might need some kitty prozac...

Methinks it's the invasion of the other cats! You've had to share your parents, home & food...so your privacy is probably the last straw! I know it's hard to teach old cats new tricks...you have my sympathy.

I have a great idea!!
MissPeachie, your lapdaddy should wash out your covered litterboxie and put some snuggly blankies in there, Then give you an open box for your litter
Keep the old litterboxie with the blankies in the same place as the former boxie, and put the new open boxie right next door to you.
I wish so much that I could come over and snuggle with you. That would be my greatest desire. I love snuggling and burrowing.
Mom says that I am very demanding (I have always been but now more than ever, I am always screaming orders to her) She likes to run away to the ice rink three times a week and tells her friends there that she needs the break from ME!!!
I think my mom knows what your mom must be going through. Isn't it fun being silly? I do adore it. We are olde and this is great entertainment, and I know it is good for our mom and dads to keep busy.
You are such a sweet curlyflower Peachcuddlepuff. I hope you are just very happy and enjoying your foods. I love eating and sleeping and screaming at mom and dad and demanding pets.

Love and purrrs always, Prinniecurlypants

Mrs. Peach~I agress with Princess on the litter box ideas. That just might work. On the other hand, when I'm volunteering at our Humane Society I see LOTS of kitties snoozing all curled up in their litter boxes although they have nice comfy bedding provided! So maybe you aren't so silly afterall! Hugs ~ Jill

Misses Peach I hope you are doing ok - I decided to look up sleeping it the litter box because I was worried that you are still in there and it seems you could be a little bit stressed out, and being inthere makes you feel safe. So since that is your safe spot, I think Princess may have a great idea - make it a more sleepy spot and then get an open litter box. I think that the other cats visitng inside may have just made you a little stressed out right now. Hopefully you will be more secure feeling soon and just come out on your own.

I am glad, however that I do NOT have to share a bath with you!!!!!!
Maybe you will start to relax when things get into Christmas mode!!!
Just remember, wait till your Mom is totally frustrated and then go and do something completely different!!! heehee

We understand that change is not easy - we're cats after all. Other cats in your place is definitely change. Princess has a good idea so maybe that would be worth trying. We'd like to see you out and enjoying your place, even with Hunny Bunny and Buddy around.
