There is no better day at the cozy cottage than one when my grandkidbean Cole comes by. I jump right up in his lap and snuggle down for some quality petting and kisses.
The beans had a lot of fun last night at the library. They had a special program to promote The National Endowment For The Arts ~ The Big Read. Featured was Dashiell Hammett's famouse book THE MALTESE FALCON and free copies were given away! As you can see if you bigify the pictures...a great time was had. So go to your local library...open a book and fall inside!!
Lapdaddies vintage car club was invited to display their cars and our friends Dave and Paula Stands always dress for this type of occasion. When mommy went looking for Cole, she found him inside the main library with books he looked up and found on his own. Do you approve of his choice? I am wishing all of you a wonderful weekend. Lapdaddy is busy building his project that was on the blueprint this week...some of you were close to guessing what it will be but no one got it quite right yet.

About the project Dennis is making-Is it a Garden shed, dollhouse, birdhouse,Oh my is it a Cat house?!Lol-I am anxious to see what it is. Also the last Victorian Birdhouse he made for someone else with three levels!?-

Mom bought a book of Dashiell Hammitt's collected stories she found at a thrift store marked down to .20 cents. Hardcover with dust jacket, dates from the 1940's. It has Falcon, The Thin Man and 3 others. After reading your post, now mom may actually crack it open.
Oh Miss Peach, you and Cole are just too cute together! What fun Mommy Karla and Lapdaddy and Cole had! I used to work at the library and it's one of my favorite places to visit.
I love the pictures of Miss Peach relaxing and stretching. She looks great!

It sounds like your mom and lapdaddy had fun at the library - I can't tell what Cole is reading exactly but it look like it has Lucille Ball on the front - always a good choice!
We guess Lapdaddy is building a cat tree for you Miss Peach-y Keen! Or, Mooch thinks it could be a box for baby kittens??? We can't wait to see what it is!
