MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

A WONDERFUL FOREVER HOME STORY!

A cat's life is wonderfur when they are loved and wanted and needed for comfort. I have, and give lots of comfort...you all do too. {{{{{ We need a group hug now!!!}}}}}
Mommies friend Rene wrote this story about her Grandmother's cats...I know it will make you smile to start your week off just right!

"I know you will all understand. My grandmother broke her hip three months ago and has been healing in a nursing home. It's doubtful she will ever be able to return home. She has two cats, both most likely considered "unadoptable" by shelters. One is very overweight and the other is semi-feral (never really socialized).I'm the only cat lover in the family and grandma assumed we'd take them. We already have three, and adding two more would be difficult (hubby also said no, lol). I wasn't sure what to do. . . then I remembered a friend who had just moved into a cat-friendly apartment and was looking for a pair of cats.I emailed her about the situation and to my delight, she has agreed to adopt them! She's more than willing to put Tipper, the overweight cat, on a diet, and work with Pumpkin the semi-feral to earn her trust. They are several hours' drive away, so we are working to go and get them next week. I will drive with her and help her. This is so wonderful. The cats need her--they have been alone for three months with a neighbor looking in. She needs the cats--she's had family problems and has wanted her own cats for years.I will post an update next week after we get the kitties. What a relief and joy that everything is working out."

We will purr for Rene's Grandma. It's a pity nursing homes do not let you bring your pets with you. We thinks the patients would do better if they could.

So glad Pumpkin and Tripper found a new home. Purrs they will be happy. ~S,S,C & F

Yes..this made us smile...our Dutchess is working in home care...she now works every day with a lovely old lady..this lady suffers from Altzheimer disease and on top of that she has long cancer...she will not be with us for very long.now..because of the Altzheimer she doesn't know this ...and she lives every day very happy together with her little dog...ofcourse she feels very poorly and our dutchess is trying to help her as much as she can..And what about the little dog when his mommy is gone...nobody knows...its so sad...we are going to try and find her a home..

What a wonderful story.
After taking in Charlie Taylor, I would definitely consider taking an older kitty again.
Charlie is now fifteen. If I had not known him, I never would have had a kitty sing me to sleep. It is just the most beautiful thing.
You can learn something from the older cats, too, and they are already trained.
It's fun to let them show you what they know.

We will be purring and purring for those kitties to get to their new home quickly. And we will be purring and purring for those kitties to get acclimated to their new home quickly and for their new home to be their furever home for certain!

This is a good story with a very nice ending.
I know that gramma must be worried about her kitties and now she will know where they are.
curliepurrs and snugglies to you Peachpuff

We are purring that everything works out for all of them. Too often the pets go to the shelter and never come out when someone goes into a nursing home.

Would you consider voting for Merci in the cutest dog competition?

Your friend's grandma must miss her kitties very much - I'm so glad that someone has come forward to adopt them and give them forever homes.

I don't know what I will do when I get in a nursing home and cannot have a kitty with me. T.

This was a really beautiful thing to read ,Miss Peach.- Oh my , is it ever pretty, the table for two your Mommy set, looks so romantic too, with the gorgeous cherubs and the water feature you have to drink from at the cozy cottage! Do you have a pretty lantern type candle holder to use on that table at dark for Romantic candlelight? That would be the perfect finishing touch, so beautiful!

Are you having your wedding reception on the Garden grounds , it is perfect for you and Micky! Love, Valery

Hello, this is Rene checking in! The friend who is adopting the kitties has promised to send my Grandma updates. Grandma has been calling all week, asking questions about my friend (does she had a computer chair? Pumpkin loves to sit on one.) We are picking them up on Friday afternoon, so wish us luck!
