MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE
Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.
Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.
Mommy thinks I sleep so nice on my cozy spotted blanket...all curled up round just like a sunflower. 
Here is where I am aCATually sleeping right now. Yes I know what you are thinking...why am I sleeping on the bare wooden shelf? Mommy asked herself the same question. 
So she made me sleep on the cozy blanket on the shelf. She really wants me to sleep in the cozy bed with the blue flannel blanket in it that you see at the bottom of the picture and the one below. It really is a cozy nest...but I don't want it just yet. I should, though... because I fell into the little girls room box three times trying to get up on that darn shelf to sleep! 
Sometimes I just have to do things in my good old time...one of the benefits of being a senior kitty. Considering that I used to sleep in a frying pan...anything is an improvement. All's well....that ends well!

I think it is lovely that your Mum always gives you blankets when you curl up!
You can sleep where ever you want! You have earned that right. Our Mom wonders why we sleep in some places that look uncomfortable!
Miss Peach, you are not alone in liking shelves for sleeping - we had shelves that the kitties would sleep on at our old apartment. They liked the shelves best of all the places in the whole house! I have always wondered why the hard spots are comfy to cats but I guess that is part of the mystery!

I love your sleeping spots. I love cozy squishy cushions and soft fluffy things, you seem to just find anyplace that looks interesting and give it a try for a few days. A shelf is a marvelous idea!
I think Pierro would get rough with me on a shelf so I have to keep my hiding places secret.

Mr. Stormy has been sleeping way to much under cover on our bed- He is only up about two hours a day!HElikes to sit on my lap and bark at the t.v. sports people... he is up, he is Happy, plays with his toys and takes his medicine and vitamins now with a teasoon of ice-cream in the bowl.He drinks a ton of water,eats a bunch of doggy food,- and then promptly uses the doggy bathroom out back.He looks good and his ouwie is slowly getting smaller.He told me to tell you all this.--Love,Valery
You know, Miss Peach, you should ask your mom to rig you a cat-ladder up to that shelf, then you won't fall on your bum!
Mommy Karla is so good at keeping up with you and your silly sleeping spots. They all end up being cozy.
