MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

A PERFECT BEGINNING AND A PERFECT END...but the middle part suxs!

Here we are at the cozy cottage beginning another perfect day... My best grandkidbean Cole is here to spend the night with me! Coffee time with pinkie up!
OK this is the middle part I told you about in the title...
It suxs!
Mommy put me in a boiling hot cauldron of steaming water!!!!!
Then she scrubbed me from head to tail tip!
Then she rinsed me off for 10 hours!
Finally we were done...we have lift out!
Now she is ripping out my toe nails!!!
Here is the prefect ending to an otherwise perfect day....how was your day?

PS: ALL my torture pictures taken by Cole.

Oh, Miss Peach,Now you will really sleep good & feel better! Did your Mommy Karla put some "PURRfume on you too?--

Karla, in your bathtub, the polished rocks- did you glue them on there? I had posted some pics way back of this idea to make an ocean-like bathroom I had scanned from a book--

IS that the latest Birdhouse that Dennis built in front of the window on this post? It is Absolutely stunning nice- They are getting more gorgeous each time I see one he built! --xo--Valery

Miss Peach, you were very well behaved in your bath. Our Mommy would be scratched head to toe if she tried to do that to us. ~S,S,C & F

you look as if you don't mind it too much. I would be scared if I was washed. Especially in hot water. I only like water to drink.

Dear Miss Peach,
Oh my dear girl - I can sympathize with you on how that bath thingy sucks - you were much better behaved than I was for my last bath - I howled, cried, scratched and tried to claw my way out of that slippery tub. But at least as Mr Shakespeare said; "All's well that ends well."
Pellie, Sir Knight and I want to thank you from the bottom of our heart for your kind words offered when Dale went to the rainbow bridge -you are just the BESTEST FRIEND a little meeser like me can have. Thank you. Thank you.
Pellie had been sick with one of her grain headaches (whatever that is) and had been not been on the computer for two and a half days and the house was all darkened so she wouldn't bring back up the little bit she ate. So you can imagine her surprise when she saw all the messages of kindness and love left by the folks on the cat blogosphere. I was blown away myself to know how many of fine felines do this blog thing and how kind they all were to me, a stranger. Pellie said it will take awhile because she still not 100% over her headache, but we will be going to visit each and every one of them. Yeah!!!! "Make new friends - but keep the old - One is silver and the others gold." (I burst into song)
I best get started on my visiting of all those other blogs - but I want to say again.
Thanks again for your kind words and for telling so many nice people about Dale and how sad we all were.

Genghis

OMC Miss Peach!!! A cauldron of boiling water?!? We don't get near those things!!! One time, when our little bean was finished with her tubby, Dad threw me right in the tub before all the water was gone!!! It was AWFURL!!! And, after the 10 hours of rinsing, were you all pruney? Glad the day ended nicely for you. We bet you smell furry purrty!

Oh Miss Peach! I am horrified for you. Why would such a lovely lady cat as yourself be forced to have a bath?!

Angel Ginger Jasper said...

Well you have lots of sympathy from me. I just hate baths and would have been struggling much more than that.. Your bean did well with those photo's well done Cole.

You look lovely enjoying that cuddle there..

Oh Miss Peach I know you hated it but you have to admit you look very cute wet. And you look like you were being a very good kitty and not trying to escape (which is what my kitties do). And also, please tell Cole that he did a wonderful job with the pictures - they are all perfect!

Miss Peach, you seem so calm and relaxed through all of the terrible torture! I'll bet you smell real sweet now!

Miss Peach, you were such a good kitty girl for Mommy Karla! I bet you smell lovely and your tummy is all soft and nice smelling now. Purrfect for cuddling with sweet little Cole! Billie screams and scratches and howls when I bathe her and I must wear heavy rose pruning gloves! Really! Needless to say, all we usually manage is a good "butt dunking".
Is it cooling off for Mommy Karla?
I am way behind on my computer time. I felt kinda yucky yesterday and am moving slowly today. Too much to do and not enough time.
I hope you all find time at The Cozy Cottage to relax with coffee on the porch and lots of treats for kitties and Beans!
Love,
Lorianna

You mean Cole watched your torture, took pix and did NOT call 911 to help you? We're not too sure about him, Miss Peach. :)

Just kidding.

I did not think you could get any more beautiful Miss Peach. But I see that I was wrong. You took it like a lady and you look smashing. A pre wedding spa day. How smart you are!

Your momma really was mean to you! What's the matter with her? Doesn't she know that there are laws against animal abuse? If it wasn't for all that love at the end of the day, we would have reported her☺

You were awfully nice about the bath, Miss Peach. We think we might have clawed and chewed if our momma ever got it into her head to try bathing us. (We've been spot washed, but no full bath for either of us.)

Good that you had snuggles afterwards!

Nein, ist das niedlich. Und wie lieb Peachy, Du hältst ja richtig still. Das würde keine unserer 3 Pelznasen mitmachen. Ehrlich nicht.
Tolle Fotos hat Cole gemacht. Er hat richtiges Talent zum Fotografieren.

Liebe Grüße, Birgit und die Pelznasen.

Hello Miss Peach, poor girl you had to go through all that torture this week. We had to bath our sweet Miss Annie this week. She tiptoed out the doggie door and flys were landing on her, we got her in and gave her a bubble bath, she was not a happy girl. She's says she's not going outside anymore. LOL
Love ya, Shirl
