So this is how mommy keeps me cool. She wets her hands real good and then pets me a whole bunch. Then I lay in front of the fan and it feels so cool on my Geri curl furs...A Devon Rex kitty does not have much furs to begin with and I have less than most being a senior kitty. If I were a dog, then I would say these are the dog days of summer.
OK mommy, that's enough water...

Truthfully, I love being kind of wet, it does feel good on my curls, I am more furry than you Peachiepuffkins but you seem to have a bit more .... meat on your bones. You are absolutely adorable and lovely and beautiful.
I hope you have a cooler week. we have air conditioning here which the beans have going all the time... I have a nice heater in my bedroom for the night time.

Oh Miss Peach! I am so sorry you are so wet. The Woman did that to us a little bit. She'd take an icepack from the freezer and run it along our side until we got a little wet and then we'd lie there and snooze for awhile. I am glad the heat has passed but I hope it leaves you as well and soon!
Oh that is such a good idea - I wish I had thought of that when our power went out and it was so hot (we had some nice battery operated fans) about a month ago. I was worried the kitties would get to hot - now I know for the future! Thanks for the tip! I hope you are able to stay cool today!

Yes, Miss Peach, we call it in Germany the "Hundstage" but we are still waiting that it happens here....we have lots of dark and black clouds and only 21°C....
