So how was your weekend? We had a wonderful one even if it was hot. It ended up purrrrrfectly last night as you can very well see. Listen close and you can hear the cricket concert and the waterfall of the pond. Stay tune... the rest of this story will unfold on Wednesday. Catnip gives kitties some wonderful dreams....Mommy even gave some to Buddy and guess what happened...he drooled all over the deck! What is up with that behavior? I thoughts cats ruled and dogs drooled!
We ask that you keep sweet KellyKat's kitty SUGAR in your best purrrayers. She was mauled by a pack of wild dogs and they hurt her bad. Sweet Hansel is having a raffle to help with her vet bill. I am keeping Sugar in my purrayers.
Mom has three catnip plants growing outside the window!!! When she waters the plants she always brings us all some. We love it! Mooch tries to eat it all for himself. I think that's why he got the name Mooch even though Mom says it's from the Mutts comics - whatever that is.
(And Shadow drools too but he doesn't admit it!)

I don't know much about "Catnip" as I have little Maltese dogs- I wish there was something like that for dogs for a treat, looks like such a fun thing!
Today I was looking on the Net for different ideas for all the Lavender I have been cutting.I stumbled on a site that is called "all things Lavender" & they sell bulk"Catnip" on there also, Is there a connection with Catnip & Lavender? Did the envelope of Lavender buds arrive alright that I sent to you? Maybe try & see what Miss peach acts like if she can sniff that- maybe there is some kind of plant-connection?- xo-Valery

Oh Miss Peach, it was so nice to see you so happy and frisky! Tell Buddy that Cody drools when he has lots of nip too. I enjoyed the sound of the waterfall. How nice to have warm summer evenings!
I am so sad to hear about Sugar! I will have to pop over there. My tummy hurts just thinking of it! Poor sweet kitty! :(
We lost our internet all weekend! Finally this morning it was fixed. I will have to get caught up with everyone this week.
