I spent the day out on the patio with mommy and my Lapdaddy...


When she got up and came out there, this is what she saw...we cut all the beautiful EDEN roses for her...look at the huge bucket full and coffee can brimming over with beauty!! Oh and I am there too:)

Do you notice anything special in this photo?Look closely....This is the pretty coffee cup that our dear ML sent mommy a long time ago when she learned that mommy broke the handle off of her favorite one...somehow ML found one just like it. That is the kind of lady ML is...thoughtful and sweet and caring...that is why we have celebrated her birthday for a whole week!

Since blogger is being cranky, I can only show you two photos for Cat Art Sunday. They are good ones I think...one of me sleeping on my new blanket I won on the Friends Helping Friends Auction. Mommy loves me in this pose because she says I look like the kitty on her favorite rubber stamp below. The Mod Kitty rubber stamp is her newest one. Does it look like me too? Now don't you just love the card in the middle?! It came from Fluffy and Helena in Colchester England...they bought it for me on a trip to Lincoln because it reminded them of me. We just love it...and our special friends across the pond.

Morgan writes, "Last year, when I rescued Pete, the Cat Blogosphere recognized me with a special day, and it touched me greatly. I would like to pass on those feelings to Barb. Most of us know her as Gandalf & Grayson's mom, and from her own blog Will Think 4 Wine. Recently, she has taken in Whitey, and gotten him LOTS of medical attention. Whitey's story has touched me, and I would like to recognized Barb for saving Whitey.

Today is a very special day! My dearest friend Auntie Deb is celebrating another wonderful year with her Taylor cats! I love her because she is a powerhouse of southern charm. She never fails to be the most helpful to those who need it the most. If I had to chose a household to live in other than the cozy cottage...then it would be with her and the Taylor Cats...Have a wonderfur day Auntie Deb. We love you more than we can ever express!

ALMOST HEAVEN... WEST VIRGINIA CATNIP!

Today I want to show how happy I am. My friend Miss Shirl and her kitty Angel from the Rose Cottage knew just what we needed to get that job done right. Mommy found a package leaning against the front door step one day last week. We do not usually go out that door unless the bell rings, so we do not know exact when it arrived. Such an unexpected pleasure! Inside was a yummy dark chocolate and raspberry gourmet bar that we have never tasted before...mommy will share that with Lapdaddy. I got a can of Fancy Feast that I love so much...to keep me warm out on the patio, Miss Shirl included a Pooh Bear blanket made of the softest bear furrrrs. That made mommy remember the layette she had for Cole's daddy Oliver when he was a baby bean in 1973...it was Whinny the Pooh:) The best gift of all came from sweet Angel, she sent me some of her special stash of catnip that she grows in her pretty cottage garden, inside a pretty pouch. Mommy read me the nice note included and showed me the glittery tag that I will add to my clothes line. I am very thankful to you both for sending me such wonderfur gifties...as you can see...they made me very happy! Wishing you all a happy week and a reminder to please go and buy a raffle ticket at HANSEL's blog (link on my sidebar!)to benefit Charlie Taylor Sherwood and spring him from his isolation torture chamber!

CAT ART SUNDAY~RANDOM SILLINESS

Today I just wanted to play with some silly photoscapes...here are the results. My registered name is "COVERGIRL". Now that I am feeling better, I think I even look a little bit like a cover girl again. Mommy said my fur has never felt this soft and looked so pretty. I took my last auntiebiotik pill today and am now officially healthy again!! YEAH! It has been a long hard month at the cozy cottage and we rejoice with renewed strength. We wish all of you the greatest love and happiness this Sunday and for the coming week!

HAPPY WEDDING DAY TO ADAN's MICHICO!!

Today Michico weds her best friend Arion...and a family is completed on an island far far away. We are so very happy for them and pray their loves lasts a lifetime! Adan and Lego have a daddy now...what could be better...go and wish them happiness and see the story book wedding as celebrated by their culture. Michico has the most enchanting settings for her gowns...I have never seen such beautiful places. They must be surrounded by fairies..and Michico is the queen.

NATIONAL STRAW HAT DAY!!!

We love straw hats at the cozy cottage! Mommy has a favorite one she wears all the time. Her skin is fair and blue eyes are sensitive to bright light so a hat is just the ticket on a sunny day. She also has a very nice gardening hat with a wide brim and a scrap of lace to tie under her chin on a windy day. I found this ATC that she made with a straw hat on it and some real cool kitties. Even my Lapdaddy has a straw hat he got in Mexico....ole! So have a happy day thinking about summer coming soon. We had a little preview yesterday when we grilled some bratwurst for Cole and his daddy before the left for Seattle. Tonight is the first game between the BOSTON RED SOX and the SEATTLE MARINERS....I wonder if the players will wear straw hats? Cole will be sitting right by the third base on the Boston side all the way!
