MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

NEVER WASTE A GOOD DAY...or the chance to say I LOVE YOU!

UPDATE: We are home from a morning at the Vet. We are exhausted to say the least but glad to be home. I got poked and prodded and looked over like a prize fighter! My teeth are doing well. I am dehydrated so I got what is called subQ's. I never had those b4 and I looked like a little old lady with a baggy dress and droopy stockings when I got done. Like my furry suit had sprung a leak and water got in! I felt and looked even more weird! ALL my stitched were taken out YEAH! I still have a bad issue on my incision an open pocket of infection at one of the stitch spots. Dr. Oliver gave me a better salve to spread on it called Bactoderm. I also got an injection for pain. I have a bad case of URI possibly from the tooth removal where bacteria may have worked it's way into the sinus cavity during irrigation of the mouth. Wheeeeezing and snezzzzing is no fun. Mommy can't get the snot cleaned up fast as I can sling it around. Poor mantle bunnies are covered in it! I did eat and drink as soon as I got home, so that is a good sign. This whole situation is making mommy so sad...she blames herself for me feeling so bad because she told Dr Oliver to take my bad teeth and my tumor away. Now I am really sick and she is so sad for me. It will take much longer than planned to get me well again, but Dr. Oliver said I will get better. 1993....the year Lapdaddy and mommy got engaged...he put this on the floor of our garden shed..
I hope another rainbow will come after I go to the Vet today... What a difference a day makes...24 little hours..we are just so blessed to have our Lapdaddy home with us again. It was such a great day yesterday. Lapdaddy built mommy a bird house, planted tomatoes and cucumbers and petunias.
Mommy took him to eat salad and soup at his favorite place. It was a good good day. The first of many more to come. Never waste a single day kitties because tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Do not be angry or grumpy at anyone because it wastes energy. Try not to need to have the last word or care who left crumbs on the counter or complain about who might have left kitty litter all over the carpet...be happy with everyday as the gift it is and be thankful for those who love you! Please enjoy the song. It is one of mommies favorites. For those who can not get the song to load up, it is sung by Kay Starr and played by Charlie Barnet.

Oh my dear ones, I just cannot express how relieved I am that your precious Lapdaddy is home safe and sound to heal. It truly is a miracle! Mommy Karla, I have been lighting candles and holding you close in my heart. I could not use my computer this weekend, but I just had a need to think extra hard about you and Miss Peach. Then this morning I finally learned about Lapdaddy! How right you are about the difference a day makes! I will continue to pray for the whole Cozy Cottage family. Please get better Miss Peach! I hope the VET can help with you tummy and cough today.
I love you and Mommy Karla Very Much!
Gentle Healing Hugs,
Lorianna

It's so wonderful that you have good news about your lovely Lapdaddy Miss Peach! :) I'm sure your Momma is over the moon... I shall purr that the vet has nice things to say about you too my friend as Mummy takes Elzar to have his 'whatnots' certified! Yer it's very official when a little lad goes as a potential stud cat, so Mummy's had loads of paperwork to do for him and his new Mummy in Italy! :)

Oh and the music was lovely too, my Grandpur is an ex-pro Jazz musician and Jazz and Big Band music is something my Mummy loves! :) Grandpur and Grammy are celebrating their 59th Anniversary this week so she's thinking a lot of them anyway! :)

Purrs,
Isis

Your mom should NOT feel bad about you being sick. She did what she felt she had to do. Had she not, she would be feeling guilty because you were having other health problems. So cuddle your mom and let her know how special she is.

And your lapdaddy too.

Now get well!

I have been thinking of you all day and I just lit my candles. Please Karla don't feel guilty. You are a wonderful Kitty Mommy! It just takes older kitties longer to heal sometimes, huh Miss Peach? Please, oh please get better Peachie Poo!

Hi Miss Peach I am so glad you have your lapdaddy home again and is feeling good. We will purr and pray for you to get better soon. Seems like when you go to the vet you always come home not feeling good, but eventually you do get better and it's all for the best. At least that is what Mom tells me.

Oh Miss Peach! I know that you will heal up soon,- you have the best of care and prayer.

We had a very very close call with Miss Fancy tonight- you see, she is missing most of her teeth too. I was eating pork chops for supper & thought I would give the dogs each a small piece. I looked over at Fancy and-She was laying flat on the floor kicking- I thought she might be having a seizure- Mr. Mike called out "she's choking!"!!she couldn't make a sound even to let me know she was..-Mike-call 911!-Oh help me sweet Jesus!Mr. Mike held her upside down -& the meat finally went down -it is really hard on these little pets not to have many teeth...

I just am still weak and sad from it all- but so glad she is o.k.-I felt so helpless. I will be studying hard now, on exactly what to do if a little dog or cat chokes, Fancy couldn't breathe at all- and I am just glad I was home to catch it in time- I feel so bad that I gave her that teeny piece of meat in the first place-...It was an overcooked harder piece, I couldn't eat it-Mr. Mike Bb qued & it didn't seem cooked enough for me- so I had put it in the microwave, so it was not so tender.

Did your Mommy buy you some of that stuff yet, called "Nutri cal"?- It is so good for you, and tastes so good with lots of vitamins etc in it- I hope you can try it soon.Love you guys, Valery
