Kim Jacobs came by yesterday and told me that she is looking forward to meeting all of you at her tea party on Sunday. She is delighted that so many of you like her book! I found some of her cottage paintings and wanted to share those with you today. I hope to see all of you here on Sunday...one of you lucky kitties will win the door prize...a purrrrsonalized copy of COTTAGE CATS sent to you by Kim!
Mommy was so inspired by Kim's cozy parlor painting below that she asked Lapdaddy to build her cabinets to flank our fireplace just like these. He already got started...we love him so because he is always making our nest even more cozy. Kim painted our favorite combination of place we love to go to...a musty book store where we can find a vintage volume of Washington Irving's tales. Then we are enticed next door by the aroma of fresh ground coffee that we take out into the courtyard along with a slice of marzipan cake....ummm heaven!
Which cozy cottage would you chose to live in?

All of them are lovely, I love the first one... such a pretty little house, the second one with the white fence and wheel barrow is very cozy, however the third one with the little pond would suit both mom and dad. daddy likes a pond and I think that is my favorite.
Oh my mom has to run off, Pierro just lost his breakfast being too wild.
Love and purrs Princess
All cleaned up. Pierro was so upset about "popping" that he hid under his bed MOL
I hope you have sunshine and some fun adventures today. The little coatie will help your furs. and your tender skin. I know it is humiliating, mom has to wash my tail twice a week because it has oily stuff on it. I used to hate it but now I think I feel much better after I get a clean tail.
Kim Jacobs is an amazing artist. I love happy pictures with cute houses, love is certainly in those pictures.
<3 always Princess
Our Mom makes miniature houses and stuff. She would like to make all of those! We plan on stopping by on Sunday to meet Kim!
I especially like the Rose Cottage. Of course, I will stop by on Sunday to see you and Mommy Karla and meet Kim. Kim does wonderful work. Isn't art fun? I love her pictures.

We love all the cottages and it is hard to pick one because they are all so lovely!
I like Stillwater cottage because I would have a friend there!
They are all sweet! The PM is always trying to make ours look more quaint. She wishes it was on the ocean, not 15 minutes away from it.
